When your sword is bigger than your car, you know you like HEMA.

This is wonderful to see the composure of the movement, It will help me greatly with my solo drills. Thank you.

Thank you for breaking this down, these drills are difficult to learn on ones own.

It reminds me of Paul Porter's greatsword drills from the Bellatrix School.

I realize it is kind of off topic but does anybody know of a good website to watch new series online?

LondonLongsword what sort of shoes are you wearing in this video?

I know I'm late, but what are your thoughts around the part of rule 1c that specifically say, after the first upward talho, to let the sword fall over the right arm for the altibaxo?
It seems Figueiredo had a different motion in mind, but I want to hear your thoughts on this because you are coming from a place of more practice and experience.

Hi Mathew, I would love to see what you mean in a short clip if possible. I can't answer honestly without fully understanding your point visually.:)

@@LondonLongsword Just uploaded a quick video for you, which will be in the next comment.
I'm curious to hear your thoughts regarding this action, and if you excluded it intentionally, or if you think it's even really necessary. Also, please note this is not an attack on you or your interpretation, either. I have nothing but respect for you and the content you put out. :)

I'm using a stick to simulate the size and momentum of a montante, but I used a longsword also to show edge alignment through each cut.

@@mattmanbrownbro Ah I think I see I am tryjng to fall over the righf arm with the motuon I describe almost as partying. I will play with it that way (upon the arm) as well. I certainly see no reason not to.:) Thanks for the clip as well, very helpful.:)

Just half-sword with it. Thrusts are harder to dodge, block, and parry.
