Praying for all people of Guam!!
Keep Safe all those in Guam.
Maybe what is more troubling is these news people do not seem to know that Guam is not an American military base in a foreign country. It is a American territory, full of Americans.
It's not an island full of Americans, know your demographics, it's an island of 40% Chamorros , 25% Filipino , 29% Pacific islanders only 6% are white. Basically no American . Thank you
@@mojarjoe6836 I live in Guam. Those demographics are Americans. People born in Guam are American. You can be Chamorro, Pacific Islander or Filipino and still be American.
Father, I ask that you wrap your arms around our Brother’s and Sister’s in Guam this morning.. Please talk to them and bring guidance into their lives with your Word.. Father, I ask that you please watch over and protect them while this storm passes.. In Jesus name, I pray.. Amen!!!
God Bless everyone there protect them and keep them all safe
Pssst hey Fox Weather! The weather is traumatic for everyone on Guam not just military personnel and their families.
@@gtrs4evernaaaah you are just a colony not a state. Soo not counted. No hard feelings bud
Yep, it is revollting as heck to hear them constantly make obvious the fact that as a news outlet they would have zero interest in covering a massive deadly storm if the trajectory only threated foreigners. The suffering of "others" just doesn't count as news.
I was based on Guam for about ten years when i was flying for Continental Airlines. In December 1997, just before Christmas, Super Typhoon Paka hit dead center on the island. My wife and I had Christmas vacation, so we left on one of the last flights out to Honolulu before Paka hit.
Paka has been rated as the worst typhoon to hit Guam since records have been kept. It packed estimated wind gusts of 245 mph, had that been official, the highest wind gusts on the surface of the earth in recorded history! I used the term "estimated" because the wind destroyed all the wind velocity recording devices (annemometers) on the island which had only been built for winds up to 220 which is what they recorded before they blew away!
The storms in the western Pacific normally move from northeast to southwest, propelled by the trade winds at about 10 to 15 mph. But Paka for some reason stalled right over the island for 12 hours, battering everything with 200+ mph winds. When I returned after the holidays, the island had been devastated. There were overturned cars everywhere. Roofs had been ripped off buildings and residences. The power lines were down everywhere. Most of the auxiliary generators to power the well pumps that draw water up from the island's acquifers failed. Most of Guam was without central water and electrical power for two to three months. We got through it, but it wasnt a picnic. The island had been denuded of foliage. There was barely a leaf on a tree or vine to be seen anywhere. Apartment buildings near my condo that I had never seen before were suddenly revealed when all the jungle plants lost their leaves, just like skinny dippers caught out at low tide!
God bless the National Guard units from Guam, Hawaii and the West Coast that flew out to help us recover. They directed traffic, provided power for emergency services, restrung power cables, and set up water tankers at major intersections for drinking, sanitation, and some bathing.
I pity the peope of Guam for what they're enduring right now. Ive been through it, so I know. They are good and resilient people, loyal Americans all. Our hearts are with them as they go about reconstructing the Territory from Mawar's devastation.
Lou Leon Guerrero is a female, a fantastic governor of Guam & an RN!!! Js... 🤙 🏝 🙏
To all my in-laws and friends we are 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 for you all I was there for Omar so I know first hand how powerful these storms are
Prayers sent that way. Stay strong
May God, protects His people
God bless them all
Thank you all for the Safe wishes, this may be the strongest but we will get through this. Together we can help get back to the beautiful island we once were
Hoping everyone there can stay safe.
God bless !!!!! May the lord keep u safe !!!!
I was on Guam during Typhoon Pamela in the mid 1970s. It had sustained winds of 185mph and gusts over 212mph.
I was there two with a two week old baby. Not fun! No power for six weeks. Worked for local company , there since WWII.
FYI - the governor is Lou Leon Guerrero. And a female. Not Lou Leon and a male
Hafa A'dai...
The island can take a typhoon, they happen as the island is located in what's called typhoon alley in the SE Pacific.
The elders and the long time residents know how to survive a storm.
I've experienced three typhoons while on the island.
Power will go out which will impact movement of fresh water from the Fena Resevoir to the residents.
This happens on sunny days as well as Guam often has power outages due to animals shorting power lines, autos contacting and breaking power poles, and increased electrical load demand during peak hours, to name a few.
The people from.the middle of Nebraska who will experience a power outage for the first time will be OK as barracks and housing is built to withstand typhoons from walls to windows.
The bases and the hospitals have generators that will be spun up immediately after the power goes out...the galleies will be open to feed and the hospitals will continue care of their patients.
Traffic will be a challenge and the antagonists will be the military personnel who may not have experience driving in uncontrolled conditions.
Overall, they'll be OK including the fragile psyches of the "world's most powerful military members."
Hafa...
Western Pacific typhoons are really a breed of its own
As for the weather forecast here in the Philippines, this super typhoon may land in our country today. Please pray for our country too, sending prayers to Guam.

Hank, from Georgia, wants to know if Guam tilted over during this storm. He anticipated a flip from west to east.
This kind of heavy typhoon always happened in my country Philippines 🇵🇭 😂
Wish Guam is all safe
@@WarrenHolly Typhoon Ike (Nitang) Aug 26, 1984; Typhoon Mike (Ruping) Nov 7, 1990; Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) November 3, 2013; and Typhoon Rammasun (Glenda) Jul 9, 2014 - were the strongest typhoons I ever experienced in my 47 years of existence, with Yolanda as the strongest storm ever recorded in history. Fox entertainment…Just run the satellite videos without talking.
160,000 people on Guam. They are US citizens.
It is a us territory therefore they are us citizens. Learn your history before commenting
last time i checked the Gov Of Guam identifies herself as women Just a news reader!
Horrible news reporting.
Finally! Something fox is good at. The weather 🤔
Horrible news reporting. Yes there is military troops but there is also civilians and locals who are American citizens. As well, Lou Leon is a female. Prime example of robot reporting and just reading whatever
Civilians are not Americans so not our concern. We prioritize americans. Let say there are americans in your country will you prioritize them?
@@christianjunhoffman9142 People born in Guam are US citizens though since ya know, it’s a Us territory. You could learn a thing or two if you took 2 seconds out of your day to research it yourself.🧐

Fulfill your prayers nothing else.
No Yolanda is the most powerful typhoon recorded in earth 2013.
The coconut trees are doing a Michael Jackson
What is the impact to local American citizens. The typhoon moving away from coastal areas inland, Guam is an 8 mile wide island, your reporting made the island much larger.....a common issue with our journalists these days....almost a correct story....
All help
This woman needs to speak without the slurring
😂 America posted there and God sends a message to clean up your own nation 😜
As sad as that sounds I had the same thought. Divine Judgement for letting the wicked American's in.
(And yes,I know Guam is "American"territory)
Super typhoon,Betty going to manila that the eye of the tyhoon
Grabe
And many prisoners were being moved from Gitmo to the base there . Coincidence? I think not . Power and comms down at the same time. Well placed I would guess. 🙏🌎
Camp Blaz not Cape Blaze 😂
Uh-oh, did it tip over?
someone tell this newscaster to stop and breathe. and cape what? have no idea wtf she said.
She sounds drunk. She couldnt even pronounce the governors name. But ya there are more than military on Guam. Spent seven total years in the Navy there. I have friendships that are 30 years old. I went through Omar in 1992 and and pong san wah in 2003. I know the spelling is way off on the super typhoon name. Forgive me.
Will JOE help Guam? That was a silly question, SORRY!
He'll help more than Don helped Puerto Rico! I hope no one there lost their life, and that rebuilding goes quickly.
Those wars loo

That typhoon should wipe out the US military, I hope.
Damn so negative, but I guess you really got nothing going on in your life, you prolly have autism or your parents neglected you
GUAM…. An acronym for “ give us American money “ it gets hit by hurricanes on a regular basis, it is hotter than hell ALL YEAR!… and full of snakes!!!
Not a bird on the island. Constant Brown Outs. Not even a half way decent structure. God Bless em.
@@lawrenceleverton7426 our structures are are way better that yours.
Well, they can get American money, because they are aUS territory, governed by the US, and they have one congress person. Unfortunately, because they are only a territory, that congress person cannot vote, leaving the 168,000+/- people, who are territorial citizens, without full representation. Pretty much the same with Puerto Rico.
A black democrat said years ago the island may tip over cause too many people there. This could be the last straw. 😂😂😂
Congressman Hank Johnson. He was in the news recently saying how you can have a pistol and a brace in your jacket, and then put them together to create a rifle.
named after the man of war jelly fish which loves to bask on it's beaches waiting to sting tourists duh duh wuh wuh wuh
Mentioned 10,000 troops in Guam but not its 170,000 residents who are US citizens. Wow.
