Have heard so much about that term ‘planner peace’, it is a bit of a mind-boggle figuring out what works, and for me what worked for many years came to a screeching halt when I retired late last year. Maybe we aim to have a ‘perfect’ system, and since life isn’t perfect we don’t give ourselves a break, allowing for adjustments.
Yes! I know I always find myself searching for a “perfect” something. But I’m trying to re focus on finding what I enjoy using and works over perfection
I’ve really been enjoying your vlogs! I too love the cozy vlog, Megan has been a favorite for a few years now and I’m so glad she started making videos again. Thanks for sharing your journey this week, I’m sure it’s been a lot of work to produce, but I’ve really been enjoying it!
I feel like when people hear "planner peace", it's like they found the system that solves everything. To me, it's a decision within yourself of what tools will help you get your life together for the year & if something changes during that time period, you adapt and have your planners/journals adapt with you as well. Like I used the day-free last year due to the numbered pages and see the freedom of undated pages and it didn't turn out the way I initially planned and I was using that less so now I switched back to the original techo with dated dailies.
I’ve really looked forward to watching this series every morning (in the Uk) it’s a very chill start to my day! Would definitely watch more of these types of planner content x
I love coming back to these and how different we all use the cousin My weekly pages are essentially a daily. All my doodles and tasks and brain dump lists go there, but the daily pages are a mix of memory keeping and just journaling. If it’s day specific i put it on the actual day.. but other than that I just journal. I love a vertical weekly to write out task lists and making it a daily (thanks adhd for making me need to write down everything) and i love seeing how different we all are!
I've been loving these! Since they come out about the time i have lunch, it's been a sweet, lovely thing to do while I relax a little at work. (I also use a weeks for work and a cousin for my journalling, so it's really cool to see how someone else uses theirs!)
Love the style and will watch every episode you make ❤ as long as your main focus is the function of a notebook/planner/journal verses what shops every single stickervis from! ;-) Have enjoyed your content for years and I’m so happy for you to (hopefully) be less stressed now that you are getting more settled in your original system 🎉
Really enjoying this style of vlog. These have given me inspiration and ideas to incorporate daily journaling and memory keeping in a way that works for me. I'm waiting for my hobonichi weeks to come and that will be my simplified catch all of tasks and appointments for the week. I have a b5 or b6 (don't remember the size) dot grid notebook from Amazon that I am setting up kind of like the cousin. I have a month overview on one page and a dashboard layout week on next and then daily pages for journaling as I go. This will stay on my desk and I have been updating the journal page throughout the day. I've been doing this for the past 3 days and I'm really enjoying it. I would never have thought of this set up if it wasn't for your vlogs showing g how you are using the weeks and cousin. Thanks. Looking forward to more videos of inspiration.
My cousin weekly spreads used to have all the tasks too, initially. Gradually it became purely journal/highlights/creative outlet. I love the 1 week at a time view. I think it's a balanced approach between jumping planner at the first inconvenience and forcing something that doesn't work.
I used to spend so much money hunting for the perfect planner. But I have such notebook anxiety that i would either not write in it altogether because I would have anxiety about ruining it. Or I would use it for a short span of time and get bored of it or hate something I did and put it aside and forget about it, resulting in a 3/4 unused notebook 🤦🏻♀️😂 But now I finally found my planner peace in such a weird way for I wonder i anyone else has done the same. I used a travelers notebook now but I make the inserts myself. This solved my problems. Because I no longer have anxiety about ruining it because I know in the back of my head I can just make another one. And because I choose how many pages are in them I can make them small enough so I don’t get bored from being in the same notebook for too long. I’m finally completing filling these inserts in. Feels good to finally have planner peace 😂 it also HAS to be a passport because if it’s not small enough to take everywhere I’ll never use it
I’m really enjoying this series. Very relaxing and giving me some ideas for my planning. Quick question. What is that box next to your laptop? A capture card? Looks like Elgato or Steelseries symbol on top. :)
@@lindseyscribbles very cool!!! I have a Corsair wireless for my gaming PC but I’m looking to replace it soon. What I really want to get is a good quality mic.
I have been enjoying this style of vlog…it’s calm and peaceful and I have been inspired by your process. Thank you for making yourself available.
Thanks so much for watching! 💕

Agreed. I also retired last year (Oct) and it is a total paradigm shift when your needs change.

I love how versatile the cousin is for everyone
I really enjoy the format and having these in my feed so much. I live in my cousin so I’m happy it’s having it’s moment on your channel.
Yay! All the cousin live this year
I love this style. Keep it up ❤
💕💕💕
This is similar to what I’m doing this year. A weeks for work. 1 cousin for tasks and appointments. 2nd cousin for play, creative, & dear diary.
Sounds like a great system!
Can't wait to watch. Love your style and I hope you continue these!
And decision fatigue is so real! I totally hear you.

It’s the receiver for my steel series headset I use for work!
