@@LemurJackson he's talking about cinema, not just the movie, Avatar changed everything in 2009, the fact that the sequel should've been released in 2014 and it's been delayed ever since and there's even more 2 on the way, he's doesn't just want to release the movies he wants to change the way we see movies again

Titanic I've seen 3435 times so I'm going to watch the Abyss until Avatar 2 comes out. Which will be in 2 years.

Hopefully the fact that James Cameron is beginning to talk about avatar 2 on shows like this means he is trying to build the hype and is optimistic it will come out soon! Maybe a trailer coming soon? Can’t wait!
The trailer will be out this December I think, and the movie will be here in December of 2022, they already shot Avatar 2, 3, 4, and 5 but 4 & 5 aren't being converted to the final product until the success of 2 & 3 are showing.

Avatar should originally premiere in december 2021, but like many other movies due to the pandemic it will get released in 2022
It boggles my mind how Avatar became so hated despite virtually everyone who watched it considering it among the most amazing theatrical experiences they ever had.
People like James Cameron need to be immortal. Losing legend like these is unmatchable to anything. So much knowledge, skills, just evaporate just like that.
The respect I have for Cameron is huge. He's a genius, love him or hate him.

James is such a tease by showing that still frame of Avatar 2 on the edit bay behind him. I can't wait for the sequels. All of the edge-lords saying that no-one cares about Avatar will be the ones first in line, I guarantee it. Going back to Aliens, Jim has smashed the doubters to pieces with every single movie he has made. That is partly why he is my favourite director.
If you have ears to hear, hear and understand you are probably one of GODS lost sheep that needs to be found there is this hole in your heart and you tried many times and many things and many ways to fill it and still are but it’s not working and it keeps getting bigger and bigger you would be around multiple people and still feel lonely and work so hard to take those bad thoughts away etc but let me tell you JESUS is the one who can fill that whole in your heart JESUS is that missing piece you’ve been looking for, that peace that’s never ending that true love and joy and happiness it’s in JESUS not of this world but of the kingdom of heaven and if you want to accept him in your heart all you have to do is believe in the gospel A-admit that you’re a sinner and that you need forgiveness, B-Believe that JESUS CHRIST died for your sins and rose again, and C-Confess your faith in JESUS CHRIST and his lordship over your life and you will be saved and this amazing feeling is not a drug it won’t last a couple hours but forever eternally bc it is not of this world but of GOD who sits on the throne of heaven forever and ever HALLELUJAH 😇✝️❤️

I just re-watched AVATAR and I forgot how awesome and amazing it is!! I use to be a naysayer when it first came out 11 years ago but now I love it. It's a classic story like Dances with Wolves. I can't wait for the sequel!

Terminator: Dark Fate & Alita Battle Angel didn't gross THAT high, though. Did anyone expect Terminator Dark Fate to succeed in the box office? While it did have better critical reception, just like Blade Runner 2049 it was another R-rated financial failure (one of the few R-rated movies to have 200 million dollar budgets) to heavy competition like Joker.

That being said, I actually LOVED Alita (still hoping for a sequel), and Terminator Dark Fate was all right, but not more.
Cameron, as a director, has been able to unite audiences for a long time. The only one of his big features that can't really be said to have stuck in the memory of most cinephiles is True Lies, and even that one was the 3rd highest grossing movie of 1994. His last two films as director have both been the highest grossing films, with Avatar recently reclaiming its crown - but even before that, all his movies proved to have a solid return on investment.

He's only had one movie post 'Titanic' and it did usurp the former... The Avatar sequels will show if this trend continues... People have a lot of hope cause of the hype and that can cut both ways. And since he shot back to back to back to back, a misfire will tear through the whole franchise- 'Matrix style'. So he has a lot riding on it- so does the studio that's backing him [A billion dollars plus marketing!]
I wish the soundtrack for the Avatar sequel will be good as the first one. James Horner is such a good musician he’ll be missed. The music brings you to a different dimension, It feel’s like you’re part of the movie, every harmony matches the scenes. So much love. I will be forever proud that I’ve seen this film. It’s my all time favorite. I can watch it over and over again. I never deleted the original blu ray copy in my ICloud. Btw I’m a Filipino fan.

It’s been nearly 13 years since the first Avatar came out. I’ve been waiting patiently ever since and it’ll still be another year most likely until the first sequel comes.
Avatar is the best movie, period! It is the only movie that I can and have watched 3-4 times, I cannot watch other movies more than 1 time. Cant wait for the sequels!!!.

I am now in my 40s, and the sequels seem as far away as ever.
