TEAM ATHENA: SZN V | Renaissance Showcase 2022 |

"Team Athena was launched in January 2019 under the direction of creator Evan Miller, Darius Brown, Edward Refuerzo Jr., and Tamara Valle. The team debuted its first set at World of Dance Dallas that same year. In fall of 2019 the team transitioned to new leadership under the direction of its current leaders, Darius Brown and Kylah Henry.
In 2022, the team is now in its 5th season, having catered to a large variety of female dancers, while training, competing, and performing throughout Texas. Team Athena aims to to create a lifelong bond of sisterhood by training, connecting, and growing through dance. The crew continues to produce their own concept videos, photoshoots, and host community workshops and events.
Earning 1st Place and Crowd Favorite at World of Dance Houston 2022, Team Athena has most recently successfully hosted their second annual Renaissance showcase. This piece is a reimagining of their award winning WOD Houston set."
