Came back here again after the KathNiel breakup issue. Tama nga si Liza all along. Tingnan niyo situation ng controversy. Sa sobrang invested ng lahat, nakakalimutan nila ang reality vs on-cam. I mean, yeah sure, we'll give the benefit of the doubt na ang KathNiel na lang ang natitirang matibay (like KathNiel was everyone's last resort after JaDine, MayWard broke up). Pero ayan na, dumating na tayo sa point na "what if magbreakup sila?" Unconfirmed pa naman ang rumors, but look at how everyone's reaction. Hays... just sad. Liza was right all along. 😔
'They squeeze out the juice of the love team' exactly, that's how the business works they spend money for these loveteams, of course they're going to make the most out of it, Love teams can become toxic sometimes or maybe hinder some actors growth, but that's nothing shocking, I mean take the kpop industry for example it's practice in the industry to ban artist from dating and sometimes put on a persona ,act like perfect human beings in front of the camera and most if not all are underpaid.. If Liza thinks loveteams are too much, she wouldn't last a day in the Korean Entertainment Industry ,that's how it work in their country. I don't personally enjoy loveteams really, but that's the norm in PH showbiz, it also reflect the pinoy culture that's y love teams are popular..

Theyre forced to date in real life ganun tapos lahat lahat gagawin para mapagusapan kayo. But then theyre young. Darating ang panahon they will no longer be a "thing" so in order to survive, you need polish and improve your acting skills mismo as an actor or actress, not a celebrity.

Love team is a pop culture in the Philippines. It can be toxic but this really depend on the actors, their management and their fans. Liza maybe speaking to her own perspective base on her own personal experience. Apparently, what she said here is not entirely true on how Love Teams work in PH. A superstar or icon in the Philippines can work with as many leading actors as they want. Example Vilma Santos, Christopher De Leon, Nora Aunor, Robin Padilla, Maricel Soriano, Dina Bonnievie, Sharon Cuneta, Aga Mulach, and the list goes on...

@@olamideabimbola758 Kathryn HAS been in projects with actors other than Daniel Padilla before. Her film 'Hello, Love, Goodbye' with Alden Richards was an even bigger hit than 'How's of Us' with Daniel.
Now, I'm not saying I agree with the other person that Liza doesn't have the range to get out of her fixed love team with Enrique. In fact, I enjoyed a number of her films and admired her skills as an actress. I think it's the matter of how her management supports her in these kinds of personal endeavors. I really feel like she just wanted to break the mold that she's been in for so long. 'Cause how can you sharpen your craft if you're not able to get out of the comfort zone. In this case, the tested and proven love team formula the PH showbiz has hung onto for years (and I guess it's also something that her management didn't want to risk losing)

While the strategy is really good for business, it’s got a lot of dark side to it as well. Especially when the “masa” or “the aunty marites” at home really believe whatever they see and hear on-screen. They don’t know the concept of research or when it’s actually “scripted”. 😅
I remember people going crazy when they learned that “Aldub” couple were not married or even in a romantic relationship. Till today, some grandmas would think that their reallife partners were fake. 😅
But it’s not just Philippines though. It happens to Celebrities all around the word. The difference is just that the Filipino way of Loveteam Campaigning is a long-term contract. They have to fake it till they make it to at least 3-5 years or something like that. Acting 24hrs everyday in your life must be mentally and physically draining for them. Sooner or later, the actress will outgrow being in a love team. If she hated it, then why did she ever have to be in a love team? Now she speaks a lot against it? Famous actors and actresses were in a love team. Even in the US, India, or whatever part of the world, they have love teams, but its not permanent and it is surely not something that the whole industry depends upon.

Even with her batch in Star Magic, Jane Oineza although not as popular as her, is a great actress and known for her outstanding performances.

I dont understand why it’s inappropriate to share her experience. Anime and kpop have their own share of issues that surfaced such as mangakas being severely overworked and kpop trainees or idols experiencing toxic lifestyles. The industries aren’t ruined even if those issues are surfacing. If anything, it’s actually good for the artists because it opens up a conversation so that the industry will treat them better.

No. Liza is being untruthful. Her love team pair, Enrique Gil was offered to go have a movie with someone else(another star actress). She said she cant allow it since it is out of her comfort zone. She also rejected projects that wouldve been her with another leading man. Stop your lies Liza. You became famous because of PH industry, stop bashing it. Let me name names that started out in a love team and now very successful actors ON THEIR OWN: Kathryn Bernardo, Nadine Lustre, Bea Alonso, Ms. NORA AUNOR ( love team ni Tirso Cruz), Ms. VILMA SANTOS (love team kay Edgar Mortiz). They are not stuck with their love team partner up to now!! Of course, these actors are excellent their craft and some are even award-winning. I don't know where the heck is she getting the bulls---t that she's been saying out there. In my opinion, this has something to do with her boyfriend that she wants to shake off but feels stuck with because of the lizquen fans that she's concerned to lose if she finally admitted that she's through with him.
