🐉Hi Leticia, I still don't have any of Hourglass face palettes, I've been holding strong! I do have a texture and pores and am afraid it will be too shimmery for me. The design is so cute though. In terms of product itself I think other brands would work better for me, like Pat MacGrath, Natasha Denona, etc.🐉
I have the palette and was putting on my makeup as I was watching/listening to your review. I found the same thing as you did overall, especially about the highlighter being very gold and dense. I'll still use it sometimes as a highlighter for an evening look if I'll be in a dimly lit area. You make a good point that it really can be used more often as an eyeshadow. It is my second Hourglass product. I had recently purchased a mini bronzer in the shade Difused Bronze Light and loved the blendability and sheerness of the powder I was convinced to get the palette. I might have waited a bit more but as they are a limited run, and I liked t hat they had two finishing powders and two blushes, I was sold. I also always like a new bronzer shade. You also said what I had been thinking regarding the redness of their bronzers. I hadn't realized others had noted that as well and really thought my skin just might be reddening as I put it on with the brush motion and the reddness was showing through because of their translucent quality but your mentioning their reddish tinge was really useful! I enjoyed this video and in general enjoy your take on makeup from the videos I've seen.

@ yes! I’ve been using it as an eyeshadow with my red blush looks and their bronzers as well with the red blush look because of their bronzers’ red undertones that you pointed out.

Its a finishing powder, not a setting powder, so they have quite different properties and shouldn't be used to set.
