•Walmart does not have cameras in the production areas •the ovens will NOT close shut and lock without someone on the outside physically pushing the door shut. •if a work order was put in for that equipment, it cannot be touched - even cleaned. • all ovens must have an emergency hatch/button. •start button must be pushed in order for the oven to run Someone is responsible for her death.
The only excuse I can find is that it was mostly closed/ajar, she was unconscious, and someone just walked past a closed it. But if it wasn't supposed to be baking - and this was 9:30 and apparently past baking times - why would anyone look at the turned-on oven (or choose to turn it on) and then just leave?
Yeah, but you probably didn’t even watch the video bc had you, you’d know that that model doesn’t lock, they literally showed it. That they don’t have an emergency shut off
Exactly and even if she fell unconscious why was the oven door closed and why would she lock herself inside and even if she did someone from the outside needs to turn the oven on and why would they need to use it 30 minutes before closing the store and even if shouldn't that person load it first before turning it on it just doesn't make sense someone definitely murdered her and probably her mom is the one who did that to get money insurance or something idk what they call it out of her daughter
i said the same thing! i use this same oven daily if it was heated she wouldn’t even bare to go all the way it’s so hurt and the door doesn’t shut by itself it has to be push shut and there’s a release button inside this is so sad
That's so sad.. but I believe you and since you work there at (Walmart) you* more than anyone' should know better.. how Walmart runs it's things and have a good idea of what could have took place.. 😢💔💓 praying for her family
I'd hope the police found evidence of someone who did this to her. Who last touched the on button? Or held the door closed? They had to of found some hand/fingerprints that didn't match the girl
Someone did something to that poor girl. If that oven is anything like the one I worked at, she couldn't have locked herself in. This entire situation seems shady.
For this to have been an accident, the oven would have had to malfunction and somehow 1. Close and lock itself, 2. Start the oven (and this was 9:30, and apparently past any baking times, so it was unlikely to have been on before), 3. The emergency button inside didn't work, 4. She would have had to have chosen to go in there for seemingly no reason and 5. She would have likely had to lose consciousness, or had 0 other employees nearby
@brooke-lynnox I googled this and the police are not treating thos as suspicious. How about you google things and educate yourself instead of taking Google's word for it all the time
Let me tell you something about Wal-Mart. The camera wasn't working? My experience with that is that when it's "convenient", managers will turn them off to prevent misdeeds from being noted. How do I know this? I worked at a Sam's club. I worked the overnight shift. A manager turned off the camera in the back and hid in the ladies room and waited for me to enter. I was the only female on this shift. It was the employee restroom in the back of the club. Of course, no one believed me as the camera was not on. I can't go into details, but I was assaulted. When I worked during the day, I worked in the bakery. You can't accidentally lock yourself in that oven. She might have gone in or been pushed in. Also, someone had to have turned it on........ I believe she was murdered.
Heard when it happened. Im a professional chef of 25 years in 35 kitchens in sevral states. All freezers, coolers etc have emergency releases. This made my spine shiver moment i read it. Something happened
Never worked in a kitchen with defective equipment? I have from owner negligence. I have used walk in that could sometimes not open in the right conditions. I think this is a freak incident due to Walmart neglect and it’s being covered up.
@@ferociousfil5747 I worked frozen in a grocery store in Atlantic Canada. *None* of our freezers had an internal emergency release. The freezer doors had a tendency to stick, weren’t fixed until they completely broke, and we were expected to deal with them regardless of their state of repair.
You have no idea how some of the people that work there Behave like, Seriously, they get aggressive over nothing and stop barging around slamming and breaking Anything And everything in their way.
this happened in my city. it’s brutal, i feel so bad for her. i was at work at a similar store when i heard about it, and even hours after her death we all had a feeling it was intentional. it’s incredibly hard to accidentally lock someone in an oven designed to prevent that
So many parts of the oven would have had to malfunction at once - the locking mechanism going off, the oven (re-?)starting itself, the inside emergency button not working... Not to mention the sheer bad luck of no other employee walking past that late at night and wondering "huh, wonder why the oven is on this late?"
I live in Dartmouth ns so I’m technically in the same city too and my friend who lives very near there told me about it the next morning…the cops here are USELESS and I will NEVER EVER TAKE THAT BACK
Good point, but once they close, there are employees working late and through the night. Not sure about this store, but it’s usually stockers, cleaning, etc. Baking and deli Al staff often come in very early and some stores even bake and prep overnight. However, I do agree that the oven running 30 minutes before close would be unlikely. If it was 4AM or after, that’s another thing, but this time is definitely odd.
I haven’t worked for Walmart but at a local grocery store in my area. Typically bakery would have employees come in before close and they would work through the night preparing baked goods for the following day. This is normal in standalone bakeries as well.
U know it’s kind of weird that not only stores like Walmart but, everytime somebody’s stealing, they can find out who did that easily but, when somebody dies, they don’t know what happened.🤔
I worked at a Walmart and the security cameras are pretty much for show. They had dozens of cameras all through the store and only a couple actually recording and those were for electronics. Everything about Walmart is a scam hence the reason I never shop there!!! American owned American Scam!!
They don’t ever bust people stealing from our local Walmart. Otherwise I’d of been locked up long ago. I’ve taken so much from that place over the last 20 years
The cops know she was likely murdered but they don't have a suspect. That said, why tell the public, especially in the era we live in where idiotic internet sleuths are everywhere and often jump to the WRONG conclusions, often blaming the WRONG PEOPLE? Why tell these people they don't have a suspect to this horrific crime when it will only muddy the water even more and only bring out more bad then good??
YUP!!! That happened in my state of Illinois. I also think there was foul play in her death as well. I'm REALLY glad you brought that up, talk about a rabbit hole...
The camera should have shown who walked in the bakery. I worked in a bakery and when you go in the oven you know not to close the door. I believe that someone did this to her and Walmart is covering up for the killer
@@historyindecay3701 That makes it worse bc the Indian embassy should do something. The Walmart management who sell their souls are keeping quiet, bc the protocol is to call the canadian version of OSHA 24 hrs following a death
That could be seen as admitting liability. Walmart would NEVER risk admitting liability. Even worse is without video, the person who did it will probably never have to worry about being arrested.
Only way that could happen is someone holding the door shut because you can open from inside. Wal-Mart needs to pay for her funeral and give money because that employee was murdered at work.
I was trapped in a walk in freezer once and the safety release button was frozen stuck. Luckily I had my phone, and luckily the phone even worked inside.
Being trapped inside a freezer & trapped inside an over can both potentially happen... Only difference is that you have to turn the oven on still after closing the door, it's a common feature just like the dryer for your laundry...
See this is why I’m terrified of going into freezers! There was an Arby’s recently who had a woman stuck in a freezer. There was blood on the door from her beating on it so hard but nobody heard her. Nobody noticed her missing for hours. So sad!
I know of quite a few Sheik mums who would do that to their daughter if the daughter didn't behave according to her will/consent to marry whom the mum chose ... 🎉 Why did the mother find her ? Was she working at that Walmart, as well ?
@@helgardhossain9038 that's what I said I don't think she worked there so why was she in the back where the ovens are? The story they are putting out isn't making sense
My gut tells me she was murdered. It will come to light. It always does. Horrific death. Horrific. Prayers for family and friends at this heartbreaking time. RIP
I have a feeling it was management of it was because of all the footage going missing and shadiness. These companies exploit foreign workers and maybe she turned down some advances and was punished. But no evidence for that except what I think could be possible because of how common this is in current Canada.
The Walmart in my city (Tyler, TX) failed to shut down after a young man drank bleach and vomited blood throughout the store. Not sure if he died at the store or at the hospital but the store should have closed its doors to customers. Goes to show how little they care about human life and how much they care about making money.
This same exact thing happened at my store when I worked as an overnight crew. Guy just walked in and drank bleach, died in the hospital. Our manager took on the gruesome task of cleaning it up in order to spare the kids working janitorial that night. No closing, no shutting down. We had a meeting about situational awareness the next day, then it was forgotten.
@walterdiaz7315 but these things are designed to not lock people in unless everything malfunctioned o doubt it. This isn't the first time someone was cooked because other neglected to do safety first.
Walmart insures their employees for 1M. If employees dies for any reason walmart keep the insurance earnings and not the family. Now, who press the cook button while she was inside????????
I worked at Walmart and got injured badly that changed my life. . Walmart denied any wrong doing and the CAMERAS IN THAT AREA WASN'T WORKING.. imagine that... Walmart is not a safe place to work
Bride burning dowry death. It's a *_thing_* in Sikh culture. Was the victim newly married or soon to be married? (Mighta fled India to avoid paying dowry) WHO was she married to? He or his family...investigate *_them._* Was anyone from victim's husband's family in that area of Canada? Was the family impoverished & refusing to/UNABLE to pay dowry? *(question people in the community, in Canada and where they arrived from in India.) *_Bride-burning occurs when a woman is murdered by her husband or his family for her family's refusal to pay additional dowry._* Maybe Walmart just provided a spin on the age-old Indian tradition to save on the kerosene. 🇮🇳 What a 'coincidence' a marriage-age woman from culture where bride-burning's a sick, Sikh tradition just so happens to be burned alive in an OVEN.
Yes it’s painfully obvious that the mother did it. Ppl can’t even comprehend that Indians only accept intracaste marriage. And among those, they are arranged. Pudja working at WALMART is guaranteed to not be a bright liberal scholar thwarting Hindu orthodoxy. She IS the orthodoxy.
When I worked there it was 5 minutes. Especially at night I was a stockman. So I would hangout outside or go to talks to workers. It was smaller so if they needed me they had to page me.
@ Girl don’t even start. At just 18 I was working at a restaurant and 6 months into my employment I had to turn down management positions twice. If you do the work efficiently maybe you’ll find time for yourself as well. But nobody should be expected to sit around and do nothing because they completed their tasks. If you’re against talking I think you’re more afraid of human interaction than you are of a lack of work completion.
If she was simply locked in there wouldn’t be blood pouring out. I’m a correctional officer, we used to have walk in ovens and there is an inside handle to get out! We would clean ours while they were on, just makes it easier to clean! We always had at least 3 people on the detail with one always holding the door at all times. Ours also couldn’t close by slamming. You have to close the door push in on it with a bit of pressure and then there’s a rotating handle that locks it from the inside which is made of a metal that doesn’t get that hot and can be opened from the inside and you have to have lots on before you can step in! This model can only be stuck closed if it is rarely cleaned (building up enough gunk to stick it closed(that doesn’t happen in a day/week or even month), or it was wedged closed or jammed closed
@@4bSix86f61 When I saw pictures of her I was thinking she looks barely strong enough to close the door normally from the outside let alone play tug of war with it to pull it closed from the inside. But Also the more important thing to remember, even if on if the door is opened it turns off, you then need to close the door and restart it for it to heat up again... from the outside. She literally couldnt close herself in and turn it on.
hold on, so if they have cameras that show who's walking in/out of the bakery 'section' it could become pretty clear if it was a rare horrible accident or something sinister
Walmart probably threatened to close the stores in the area.... Lots of jobs and money at stake. I'm just speculating but I wouldn't put it past Walmart trying to that
No foul play is suspected in the death of the 19-year-old Walmart employee whose body was found in the store's walk-in oven in Canada last month, police said Monday. Halifax Regional Police had responded on a report of a sudden death to the Walmart at 6990 Mumford Rd. the evening of Oct.Nov 18, 2024 Did Halifax police ever give details on why they suspect no foul play? Did the girl have a medical condition and pass out in the oven? edit: If it was a medical condition and she passed out.. and the oven automatically shuts off when the door is opened... who turned on the oven?
Either she was already gone before she was put inside, or someone intentionally held the latch down while she burned. There's no other explanation for her being unable to use the escape valve... ALLEGEDLY!
Yuh I find it EXTREMELY hard to believe they don’t have at least ONE camera angle showing who locked her in there. It’s 2024 - there is NO WAY there aren’t at least 3 cameras in that working space alone.
As a former 3 year walmart employee, there is absolutely no way whatsoever that this was an accident. I repeat not any way or form whatsoever, somebody did this...

Current walmart maintenance tech. Ive tested a ton of baxter and hobart oven doors in the since this occured. Ive locked myself in everyone too. You can lock the door from the outside with a lock and still open it from the inside. The bakery oven dont run on overnights. They dont run the ovens after noon. I know more then whats being said about store 3636, in this video. 1 in 5 stores dont have cameras in the bakery. This oven is set to be removed and replaced with small Miwe stackable.
Walmart worker here, we have our bakery in the back where the bales are made and we have a Camara pointing at the enterance to the bakery so we can see who goes in and out
Not all Walmart stores are built the same. I'm Walmart asset protection, part of the job is to get training/train other AP's in other stores. None of them are the same. From the things they sell to the layout itself.
@@lihboidasanstr8fyre228 THIS!! friend of mine installs cameras in walmart stores and he is actually astonished at how different the camera plan is for each and every store.. even new builds that he expects would be standardized, arent. and there are definitely dark areas n every store.. and when brought up, they are always tod to follow the prints and do nothing more or nothing less.. Ill have to ask him how many stores have cameras in the production areas...
@@lihboidasanstr8fyre228I can back this up a little. I used to work a logistics backend job for a major retail partner. At one point, I had the Walmart Master list. There are almost 4,000 Walmart store locations. They are absolutely not all the same, I have seen about 20 different layouts personally. So this person is spitting facts.
I'm a manager in a grocery store at present. I don't work at Walmart but I have 4 different times. It does not seem possible that this could be an accident based on everything I have experienced. The store I work in now is less serious about safety than Walmart (due to much smaller budget, not like we don't care because we do), and I couldn't imagine this ever happening in our store. We do have a big oven like that, but I don't work in bakery/deli so I can't really speak on that. I do however go into the walk-in freezer by myself without telling anyone all the time, and I find the odds of getting trapped in the walk-in nonexistent. First of all, the door doesn't close itself, I never close the door when I'm in there, and nobody closes the door when anyone else is in there. Before closing the door, I look in to see if anyone else is in there. Seems like common sense. If someone did close the door, well the way doors typically work is that you can open them from either side. There is a knob you push and the door is forced open mechanically. If that was to break, a work order would be put in on it immediately. If it was broken, and somehow you got locked in there, banging on the door for 10 minutes would likely arouse someone else to let you out. If you were somehow the only person in the store, you could cover the vents with cardboard or something, causing the walk-in to malfunction, setting off an alarm that will be responded to as soon as possible, by an angry manager wondering why he got woken up at 2am because a freezer alarm is going off. They will show up ASAP 100% of the time, because if refrigeration is down for too long we lose tens of thousands of dollars worth of frozen/refrigerated goods. Anyways, sorry this is long and rambly, but my point is that so many things would have to go wrong for you to freeze to death in our freezer, the same is almost certainly true for you to bake to death in our oven. Nobody is even allowed to work in the bakery/deli by themselves, there will always be some employee nearby to hear them scream at least.
Ive never heard this story before, but there is no way I believe this was an accident or self-imposed. Someone out there knows exactly what happened to her.
Walmart is doing their best to cover this incident up and it makes me sick to my stomach how they could let this happen and not get Justice for that girl or her family
My question is why are they trying to cover this up? If there was foul play, which is likely, they should want those involved charged. Unless discovering the one involved would somehow reflect poorly on them... Very odd situation.
Walmart is an evil dumpster fire. The managers have no soul or Canadian-OSHA would be there in 24 hours as required. Or worse like w my experience, OSHA workers may be nasty too and reluctant to do much/side w the big box retail store. But one of the other employees who aren't managers, should anonymously call the Fire Dept, I bet the conditions that trapped her(intentional not an accident) were also a fire saftey hazard if ovens weren't suppose to be on at 9pm. And the Fire Dept doesn't play around
@@AkaiOtinashiI think the police do suspect foul play. They just don't have the evidence to make an arrest just yet. They said the death was not suspicious, only meaning not suspicious enough to make an arrest yet. I think an arrest will come

I worked in a bakery. There is no way she locked herself in a running oven. If she was closing the oven would be off. Never ever have I cleaned an oven while it was on. Mom knows who did this. That's why she was looking for her. Maybe we will find out in the future.
I am suspicious because the mother was panic stricken too soon. Who would think something terrible was going on just because she didn't answer her phone. It feels like the mother wanted her found because she knew what was happening. A lot of criminals do this exact thing.
This one made me sick to my stomach. My heart is aching for her loved ones, especially her mom. I worked at Walmart when I was the same age as her, with all the cameras and management around, this never should have been possible. That or self deletion There’s literally only the two options This could not have been an accident It was 100% intentional. The question is who is the one that did it external person or the person that died
@@Helfirehydratrans It couldn’t have been self-deletion because the oven has to be turned on from the outside, and it turns off if the door is opened, so she couldn’t have turned it on then opened the door to walk inside. Someone else had to have done this to her.
She absolutely was murdered. If I had to guess we’re probably never going to learn the specifics, like the case of the employee vanishing on the Disney cruise ship and them paying her parents hush money.
My mom works at a Walmart. She worked in restaurants and factories her entire life until she got some health issues and no longer can do factory work. She has more stress at Walmart than before. All the managers and "team leads" are not smart. Not to mention all the changes Walmart made several years ago and now there are not dept managers but team leads and they have no clue about anything.
If nobody speaks English and is scared for survival, it makes it easy for organized crime and grifters to empty stores. The amount of money available to drain a Walmart store is enormous. Including data theft.
Thank you thank you, as a former department manager, those changes gutted the place. After working through COVID while everyone else either called out or cursed us out, our management being suddenly rehauled, and those “great workplace” changes…I just couldn’t do it anymore. What a sad place. What a sad way to go. Horrific.
I have been in a walk in freezer where the internal emergency plunger to get out was frozen and didn't work. I was trapped. Cell phones don't work in there and I was the only one in the store. I just kept pushing and luckily it opened. After that I didn't care about the temp temporarily dropping in the freezer I would always prop the door open while I was in it.
someone knows something... a camera had to pick up something they may not have caught the door closing but they knew who was around that bakery. the scanners could rule ppl out
And if it wasn’t directly pointed to the oven / bakery, they can still see people the people that come in and out, so they definitely have something they aren’t letting on
Walmart doesn’t care about their employees anyway. I had told where I worked for a month I wanted May 16 of that year off to go see finally see my oldest brothers resting place finally. They had me work, I called them and called off and explained and they took me off the schedule didn’t even tell me I was fired. I found out going into for my shift one day. Walmart is awful.
my mom worked at the kitchen at a old people home. and the first thing she showed me was the bottom to open the walk in freezer doer, if i was ever“locked” inside. 5 years later i visited one of my friends work place.. and one of the first the she showed me was how to get out of oven if the doer was closed.. so yeah this was no accident. all ovens/ freezer. got safely stuff so people can get out.. those safety is required by law now. and was made many years ago!! so stuff like this could not happen..
Is the safety latch to get out easily noticeable? If locked in a person might be panicking would they be able see a sign or something saying emergency unlock? I don’t think I would think to look at the bottom I’d be checking the door but I haven’t been trained on walk in ovens or freezers.

Oven can't be turned on without door closed, mother is first to find her, and the biggest question I don't see being asked, why was the dad and brother not in Canada with them? Emergency visas issued and lots of money coming in for the family ...
As a former vendor to Walmart, I can tell you that most of the management, and the higher you go up, are clueless, just warm bodies, power hungry people. None of them will make any decisions. We would offer steep discounts to the store to purchase our product and the price would be a lot cheaper than their every day purchases. They wouldn't accept it even though they had the power to do so. It was all to exert their power. Our town store had a 'clearing of management' about 9 years ago because they had, in one year, over $1 millions in unaccounted theft. It was said that most of that was product that 'went out the back door' AKA employee theft.
I don't think walmart would cover up if it was a homicide. It would just make them look bad for possibly having faulty equipment or not training their employees well. If someone's at fault, it's in their best interest to find justice. In order to clear them of being responsible due to negligence.
Walmart is my first suspect, very well could have had insulation issues with the oven or needed some kind of repair that could cause it to jam, or one that affected the temperature of the oven.
They said her phone was conviently turned off. Her mother said she had been trying to call her for a while & it kept going to voicemail, however, she ALWAYS had her phone on her & it was always turned on, according to her mother. 😢
Ehhh..... Walmart is liable for some amount of this girl's death. Even if she was never trained and not injured/attacked, the amount of cameras and microphones means that the store is liable for this. That said, this was probably an attack. That's part of why it's taking so long to release additional information. The biggest issue is that the person who did this probably works at walmart, or has a way to keep an eye on the investigation. I don't doubt that Walmart wants the investigation to exonerate themselves, but the truth is that the ultimately responsibility for the civil liability of this event rests on Walmart.
yeah, probably there were signs that there was a psychopath amongst their workers and they ignored these red flags. for sure. you cannot be THAT deranged and keep a normal front 100% of the time. there mudt have been incidents, or at least odd remarks, psychopaths, no matter how sneaky they are build up to doing something like this. the stonewalling is just crazy. not suspicious my a$$....
This definitely have Walmart attorneys working overtime on how to draw this out as long as possible. Walmart is probably one of the worst places to work...there are plenty of warm bodies out there to dim the turnover.
I'm glad people are trying to bring truth to the light as a Walmart employee as soon as I heard this I knew foul play had to be involved and so do other employees I've seen after this story went around were saying there's so many things built into the oven just to prevent this from happening we also have emergency open buttons on all doors to freezers and the oven should have one too. rip you were way too young I'm so sorry those were your last moments.💔🕯️

This was such a big story in Canada. Not from Halifax but everyone I know was talking about this. The popular theory (unconfirmed) was that her mother did this to her. Allegedly she showed signs of head trauma and due to ovens being unable to lock, many ppl think she was knocked unconscious before being put in the oven, turned it on and left. Whatever the motivation, a lot of ppl are sceptical of the mother
Life insurance? I hope not. I can't imagine a mother doing that but unfortunately that's a reality many people fall victims to. 😢 RIP to the poor girl.
I can't really speculate but it's unusual timing that the father and brother are suddenly allowed in based on sympathy immediately after her death. The mom also not showing up could be that she's traumatized but it's unusual that the mom also worked there and happened to find her. I don't know the timing of the father and bother getting a sympathy pass and money from her death is strange.

Nobody heard her screaming? That late at night, I'm sure it's pretty quiet and even in the oven, someone should have heard screaming. This is so bizarre.
Did she refuse to get forced into a marriage and un-alived by parents therefor? Check all insurance policies of both parents and store. I hope I am wrong about that.
A few events have to happen concurrently leading to her death. 1. Her movement was incapacitated while inside in the oven somehow. 2. Oven door was closed. 3. Oven was turned ON. How was it possible for all 3 events to take place at the same time without the involvement of a second person? The door is so heavy that is not possible for someone to accidentally pushed n closed it. It would take deliberate effort to do so. And then don't tell me that it was her unlucky day that there was some sort of short circuit in the wiring that has accidentally turned ON the oven right at moment when she was inside the oven and right at the moment after the door is somehow closed? What are the chances of that? And...... police concluded no foul play??? Huh??? It is obvious this is a cover up. It is obvious there is foul play. No a single righteous soul in the whole police force to stand up for the truth? Did the police checked on the insurance part? Strangely, there was no mention of a law suit that her mum would want to launch against Walmart.
first time a UA-camr has ever covered news in my city. Thank you for talking about this situation as it has impacted Nova Scotia greatly and we have been wanting to help the family receive some form of compensation from Walmart. This was no accident.
if she was murdered then walmart is not responsible and isn't liable for compensation unless employee responsible if caught was someone with a criminal record for violence then they would be partially for hiring that person.
@shelleyg1836 I know this (I'm a law student). But from what police has been doing, they're taking the "accidental death" route. So the family should be compensated if that's how they go.
@@hannahslilworld in that case then yes if they deem it an accidental death . if they don't the family could sue for wrongful death so i imagine walmart would settle with them. however i really believe this was foul play so hopefully the police don't sweep it under the rug.
legitimate questions: who asked for that sum of money, and why was it needed? funeral costs aren't in excess of $100,000. 2. If mom wasn't a suspect, why didn't cops say so? 3. It would've taken a long time to burn alive. Why wouldn't the mother keep tabs on her daughter?
It was the local Sikh association that set up the gofundme. They cut it off when (quickly) approached $200K. The fund was set up to bring the father and brother to Canada, as the mother and daughter were here as TFWs on their own. That's what we were told (locals). I've never seen this much money raised for a private issue. Not in this city.
We must demand a full investigation and complete explanation for how this could of happen by accident. RIP beautiful girl we will not stop until we get justice for your death!
My best friend is a store manager at a Walmart in the US and even he said that was not possible for it to be an accident ovens are turned on from the outside when the doors are fully SHUT.
Just a little thing here…you don’t fly from UK to Canada across the entire Europe and then the Pacific Ocean. Especially to the North East. You fly over the Atlantic. I was super confused by that graphic
In the video they explained that a lot of Walmart workers say that there usually aren't cameras in the baking are, especially pointing at ovens, and if there are that they usually only look at the door to see who walks in and out.
@@Plaksa2004 Key word "if there are". I never worked at walmart because I'm from Europe and we don't have it here so I'd know even less. I'm neither the police working on the case. One thing that really bothers me about this entire case is the fact that that oven is still in operation The fact that they didn’t get a replacement of an after somebody literally cooked alive in there
Why was her mother calling and messaging her while she is in the same store? Every hour? Is this an attempt to have an alibi? Why not just walk to talk to her daughter? I'm not saying the mother did it but maybe she had an accomplice.

she was 19? So she worked in the Bakery for two years, and started at age 17? Is that legal? She wasn't even legal an entire year of employment. As 18 is the minimum age for Canada.
•Walmart does not have cameras in the production areas
•the ovens will NOT close shut and lock without someone on the outside physically pushing the door shut.
•if a work order was put in for that equipment, it cannot be touched - even cleaned.
• all ovens must have an emergency hatch/button.
•start button must be pushed in order for the oven to run
Someone is responsible for her death.

I checked and the walmart is still closed today. So they most likely won't open again at this point

So many parts of the oven would have had to malfunction at once - the locking mechanism going off, the oven (re-?)starting itself, the inside emergency button not working...
Not to mention the sheer bad luck of no other employee walking past that late at night and wondering "huh, wonder why the oven is on this late?"

Walmart is an evil dumpster fire. The managers have no soul or Canadian-OSHA would be there in 24 hours as required. Or worse like w my experience, OSHA workers may be nasty too and reluctant to do much/side w the big box retail store. I also worked at a bakery. I truly do not think she did this to herself. This was another person ending her. 😢
Or her mother was looking for her because it was closing time. They probably ride together.
I am suspicious because the mother was panic stricken too soon. Who would think something terrible was going on just because she didn't answer her phone. It feels like the mother wanted her found because she knew what was happening. A lot of criminals do this exact thing.

This one hasn’t sat right with me since it came out. There is no way she could do this by herself, where is the CCTV Walmart?

my mom worked at the kitchen at a old people home. and the first thing she showed me was the bottom to open the walk in freezer doer, if i was ever“locked” inside.
5 years later i visited one of my friends work place.. and one of the first the she showed me was how to get out of oven if the doer was closed..

Our town store had a 'clearing of management' about 9 years ago because they had, in one year, over $1 millions in unaccounted theft. It was said that most of that was product that 'went out the back door' AKA employee theft.

I can't really speculate but it's unusual timing that the father and brother are suddenly allowed in based on sympathy immediately after her death. Maybe the manager did it?
Diversity is our strength. /s
