- On my trip to Israel I visited this high end fishfarm, where a small team produces up to 1 million ornamental fish (mainly Black and Sailfin mollie) per year.

Hi Sirs, very nice to watch your video. I am looking for giant wild sailfin mollies. But i am still doubt : actually, could they grow 15cm for male and 17.5cm for female ? If they could, i am very happy to hear it. I am looking for the wild one ,originated from native habitat not interbreeding. Thank for your video

@@DukesAquaristikexperimente in englisch ist die Reichweite einfach viel höher. Mich stört das nicht, wenn Du jedes Video so gesehen zwei Mal postest.

Did he feed egg to the mollies?
No. Just industrial pellet and some artemia for the babies.
Do sailfins require different water than shortfin mollies?
I’ve had many shortfin mollies and sailfin mollies, bought sailfin one’s from different places and even green wild ones but never succeeded. Never had problem with shortfinned ones, anybody know why that’s the case?
Shortfins are a different fish and are hardier.
Sailfin mollies in my experience require harder water. If your water is soft and not a lot of minerals then they don't do well. Some people say add crushed coral but this only adds calcium. Hard water can contain magnesium, iron and many other trace elements. Sailfin mollies in the wild often inhabit estuaries and very hard water lakes etc. This water is not just calcium and/salt.
Also if they come from bad sources then I've seen they can suffer with internal parasites which they don't recover from unless you treat them straight away with a medication for internal parasites.

Du kannst auch mit Kaliumpergangmanat desinfizieren. Killt alle Keime und Algen, man braucht nur sehr wenig und es gibt es preiswert in der Apotheke.

@@engelsramirez4886 Yeah, I'm guessing pretty quickly, they have tons of space to grow and are able to feed tons of food. I wish I had space and time to grow them this well, they're beautiful.
