you're absolutely CORRECT ! I thought the same thing , they blamed each other i always wondered if they took accountability if the out come would've been different. I also feel like , the innocence that the Lord gave to them both before eating of the fruit was no longer there, because they knew Good and Evil. In other words the lord kept his word physically they seemed fine, but internally/ mentally they died. This channel is great , helps me find a topic to try and study on whenever im unsure Thank you !

Hi Love, for our choices in life, Satan wants us to believe that the bad consequences aren't as bad as we KNOW they are! If a believer always follows the leading of the Holy Spirit, they will always experience the fruit of obedience and blessings of God. Accountability is tempting to avoid because everyone instinctively knows consequences! And initially, one thinks avoiding them is best. But it is not! Accountability is key to spiritual growth. Thank you for this teaching 😊.

Hey something I also took form Genesis 3 is verse one. Even from the beginning the Serpent doesn't;t address God as "Lord God" just "God" removing that submission to Him although still acknowledging that God is God! Love seeing your walk and viewpoints. Its encouraging seeing so many peoples walks.

Gen.3:7 also mentions how they sew fig leaves to cover themselves. This is symbolic as it shows their attempts to cover or atone for their sins by themselves which fails (similar to those who expect their "good deeds" to atone for their sins). God in His mercy provided garments of skin to cover them which not only shows how sin leads to death (an animal had to die), but also foreshadows God's plan to provide the perfect sacrifice to cover us in the nakedness of our sins!

Yes Adam was with Eve, the cunning serpent probably spoke just loud enough for Eve to hear the conversation but just quiet enough for Adam not to hear and that's why Adam didn't stop the deceptive dialogue.

I wonder if they never saw God in the beginning when they were created only heard of him. They only heard the serpents' voice. So I also wonder if it's because they never met both in the flesh. They only went by what they heard. I sometimes think about how you not listen to the one that created you, but then I do the same.
It's an eye-opener of my life choices like wow, I really didn't listen to God. I used to only think of God as just Creator, but when I listened to sermons by pastors and how they described God as my heavenly father it gave me a different perspective of him. I also didn't grow up with an earthly father so that could also be the separation that I didn't notice younger but I do now.
Wow I didn't even realize the ending of God not allowing Adam & Eve to rouch and eat from the tree of life. I think I skipped over that part and never realized why.

Notice God never told Eve she couldn't touch the fruit, instead God told Eve she couldn't eat the fruit, so she recalled the instructions from the Lord incorrectly, maybe if she knew she was free to touch the fruit then touching the fruit would have been enough to satisfy her, but because she believed she couldn't touch it she probably felt extremely limited by God's "strict" rules, and people tend to go overboard when they feel like the rules are robbing them of their freedom.

This is like saying I want to get close to sinning without feeling like a sinner, because feeling like sinner feels bad, and I don't want to feel bad for doing what I want to do...

Why try to get close to sinning at all ? Why touch what you can't consume. The serpent made her feel as though she lacked something, creating insecurities prompting disobedience.

Gen.3:1 - Indeed, Satan's first words are mixed with lies and deceit. He also tried to make God's words sound commanding and restricting.
Gen.3:6 - It does say that Adam was with her which makes this sad, especially when he was the one told not to eat of the fruit. He probably kept his distance to see if Eve would actually die from this and ate when she didn't (my thoughts). The buildup to Eve's temptation is also something to be noticed - she saw that the tree was "good for food (lust of the flesh), pleasant to the eye (lust of the eye) and desirable to make one wise (pride of life)", the 3 main temptations mentioned in 1 John 2:16.

I also discovered what you found about God's mercy in sparing Adam an eternal life in sin. It was part of my examination of hell. I wrote a whole thing on it, but I find Romans 2:5-8 to be very important verses here.
"But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; who will render to every man according to his deeds: to them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: but unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath..."
God gives eternal life and immortality to the righteous only, not the wicked, and it's not something we have intrinsically. If God did not allow Adam to live forever in sin because of how painful it would be for him, then surely, he would not keep sinners alive in hell forever as they do not have immortality in the first place. Not allowing either, is consistency of character in our merciful Creator.

I think the part where GOD placed the cherubim and the flaming sword to guard the tree of life, again (my opinion) was due to the fact of Adam & Eves sin. See, there weren’t sin before they ate of the tree. The whole goal was for men to live forever in peace without death, trials tribulations & anguish. But, now that they disobeyed GOD & introduced sin, their reward was death. For we all know that the wages of sin is death . So, now what GOD had for men which was to live forever, life has been cut short. That’s why it says “my spirit shall not abide in men forever, for he is flesh his days shall be 120 yrs” & that’s why he had to guard it. Because that’s no longer a privilege you posses due to your sin. You can’t just eat from the tree & continue to live forever. It’ll go against GODS law. That’s why HE had to send JESUS who knew no sin as a sacrifice for humanity. I believe Adam & Eve were the purest form of GOD. They literally thought like HIM. When adam begin to name all of the animals I believe that was because he was operating out of GODS imagination. So, I think GODS whole plan was for men to live forever, with HIS consciousness in our natural bodies (spirit) but, because they sinned he had to clothed them in skin(sin) which is why the flesh dies but the spirit lives forever. I’m praying the Holy-Spirit gives me more revelation on this. 🙏🏾

I’m very curious as to why women believe that submission is mutual in a marriage? Especially considering the fact that scripture says that a wife should submit to her husband just as the church submits to Christ. We don’t share leadership with Christ 😅

      @LovelyLivingThroughChrist  5 місяців тому +1

It’s because of Ephesians 5:21 ! “Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.” Obviously the man is the head and ultimate leader but both are called to submit to one another according to Gods word ! 🙏🏽💐

So it’s not that we share in leadership but we share in submission ! I apologize, I should have been more clear and careful when speaking !

@@LovelyLivingThroughChrist you have nothing to apologize for here, but let me share this with you so I can maybe get your opinion on it. This is from a Bible commentary and it’s quite lengthy lol 😩
“Submitting yourselves one to another,.... Which may be understood either in a political sense, of giving honour, obedience, and tribute, to civil magistrates, since they are set up by God for the good of men, and it is for the credit of religion for the saints to submit to them; or in an economical sense; thus the wife should be subject to the husband, children to their parents, and servants to their masters, which several things are afterwards insisted on, as explanative of this rule; or in an ecclesiastic sense, so the Ethiopic version renders it, "subject yourselves to your brethren": thus members of churches should be subject to their pastors, not in the same sense as they are to Christ, the head, nor are they obliged to believe or do everything they say, right or wrong; yet honour and esteem are due to them, and submission and obedience should be yielded to their doctrines, precepts, and exhortations, when they are agreeably to the word of God; since God has set them in the highest place in the church, called them to the highest service, and most honourable work, and bestowed on them the greatest gifts; the younger members should also submit to the elder, and the minority to the majority; one member should submit to another, to the superior judgment of another, and to the weakness of another, and to the admonitions of others, and so as to perform all offices of love: and the manner in which this duty is to be performed, is
      in the fear of God;”
