I guess you mean cooked lentils! I tried to make the cake with cooked lentils, the texture will be rather like a custard and not like a cake but it tastes great too 😋 I’m wondering if you’re rinsing really thoroughly the soaked lentils to dampen the lentil aftertaste? I usually rinse well to eliminate all that starchy white liquid, then let soak overnight in the fridge, then rinse again really thoroughly under running water and strain well before proceeding to the rest of recipe. We can barely know it’s made with red lentils! Hope this can help 🙏
Yes, sure, you can add any nut flour you may prefer. Actually, coconut is just an addition to bring the cake to a different level/taste .. but it’s totally optional and you can skip it.. the cake is still so good even when totally plain 🙏
