This flipping forest is very deserving of the name “Flower of Death”. Every freaking plant type monster in DnD 5e is present and very much engineered to kill everything they come in contact with.
My heart sank when Fleur De Morte said "every 10 minutes". Gave a rough calculation to the distance to the gate. About 13 miles out and estimating Might Crank's movement gave me a 5 hour and 20 minute trip to the gate. Party's in for a long ride...

They should have said that they don't know who the fifth party member is, because that is the truth, Taylor didn't meet up with them at the Rendezvous point and they continued on without her, sure they're making the assumption that it is Taylor who followed them but they didn't definitely meet up with her therefore it is the literal truth that they don't know
Was the movement speed established beforehand? The only assumption that can be made from the first hour is that they travelled like what an kilometre? Low-balls the movement speed to like 7ft per round or 70ft per minute, 0.7 miles per hour. The next hour was hasted, 1.5 miles per hour. So, they covered 2.2 miles by that point, approx 3.5km, so still 16.5km off their destination. Unless there's something I'm forgetting?
Welcome to Pi's Nit-Picks where for personal reasons I go through new episodes of The Unexpectables and nit-pick it of any instance where how they play and RAW don't line up in a cinemasins-esque manner. Spoiler alert: because of how this works, I might have to go into spoiler territory but I'll try to be subtle about it. Disclaimer: I am not telling anyone how to play dungeons & dragons. It's their game, not mine. These are not criticisms, these are nit-picks. I’m not trying to antagonize anyone, I’m a fan just like you. Nit-Picks: 1:13:15 : Haste lasts for one minute, not one hour. 2:35:00 : When a creature holds its breath it has one minute plus a minute per constitution modifier until they start to suffocate, regardless if they’re in combat or not. When they suffocate they have a number of rounds equal to their constitution modifier until they automatically drop to zero hit points. 3:00:05 : When making an ”offhand attack”, it must be with a different weapon than the one you used to make your “main attack”.
Also RAW acrobatics can be used to escape the grapple, but as Monty stated it is a home-rule to only be able to use Athletics, but the squirmy ability is written to be effective for escaping a grapple using acrobatics only, so even if Rewritten it to be instead effective on acrobatic saves to be grappled it is severely nerfed as most grapple and restraining effects happen on hit automatically without giving you a save, therefore making the squirmy ability effectively useless. In this case I would suggest having squirmy give the unique ability of still allowing acrobatics to be used to escape the grapple with this homebrew

I can jog 2km in 10 minutes but hasted Mightcrank only makes 1km in 30 minutes?
