Great video! I like how you had everything organized in the clear numbered bins. Questions: How long do you do morning time boxes for and do you do it before or after direct instruction? I'm struggling with organizing ALL the things and I think this will help.
Thanks for asking! I don’t really keep track of how long we do morning time. It kind of varies depending on how long the kids stay interested in their boxes or how long it takes me to wrap up whatever it is we’re covering. But they do their activities during our morning time. So I’m usually reading aloud from one book or another while they play kinetic sand, or play doh.. that kind of thing. Then when morning time is over (they’ve lost interest in their activities and I’m at a good stopping point in my reading) they put everything away and I start one on one lessons. Hope that helps!
Our play dough is only to be used on the play table or kids desks!!! We have too many paint pallets but as I buy cheap ones if they can’t be cleaned we toss them!!! I remember setting up the centres in preschool when I was a preschool teacher and I’ve done it lie you did in boxes for all my kids even though I was working in a preschool when my older kids where that age!!! Our boxes aren’t in the right boxes but I don’t care!!!
