Happy birthday Richard, looks nice weather there, jude thanks for the wee show there, could do with more like that, ta, get a lot more views, thats for sure 😊
😀😀👍👍❤❤ Great start for 2025. Happy birthday Richard. Also, I love your Sailing "Naturally" videos! Maybe a Sailing "Naturally" Calendar with Jude? Bye for now from Seattle, WA. (Northwest USA)
Thanks for for watching all of the videos. Sailing is a sport I (Richard) have followed all of my life. At times I have have sailed dinghies and other times on keel boats. Recently I have have spent quite a bit of time sailing dinghies which gives you a good understanding of how the forces of the sails and keel/rudder work on a boat. I have also read a lot of books on peoples voyages in keel boats and small boats. Its amazing what you can get from reading about other peoples experience. And finally I have watched a lot of UA-cam Sailing channels.
Thanks 😊. Have you had a look at our website? We are in the process of updating the photos (actually waiting for the warmer weather). I think there’s some content there you’ll be happy with. 😊 Jude.
Hey guys Happy new year and fair winds to you ⛵️ Been following you for a while now great watch and love your adventures I am dry docked in western Greece and hoping to follow your trucks early spring 2025 Excellent videos Thank you 🙏
Spent many years as an engineer in the British Merchant Navy, have been in the MED a few times, been thru Suez Canal 47 times. Been in many a storm 11 in the MED not good at all. If you get a chance head to Crete you will love it.
Hope you had a fab birthday Richard 🎉 and a pizza 🍕 Love Italy 🇮🇹 questions as I get so many conflicting answers, crossing from Greece to Italy, some say don’t check in and out as it’s still eu Schengen and some say do if it’s a different country. Interested in your take ? Thanks and cheers 🥂 Nick ⛵️ AKA Sailing Sea Star
Thank you. Yes, a good question. I think the confusion comes from our general use of the term "check in" and "check out". You are correct they are both in Schengen so there is no immigration procedure to be completed but both countries have their own procedures for the management of marine traffic, I think this is mainly used to manage the customs aspects of use of a foreign vessel in their waters. In Greece you need to maintain a transit log for the time that you are there and thus at the end of your stay you need to hand this in at your final port of call. We did this in Preveza. In Italy they have a similar thing that is called a Constituto which is administrated by the Coast Guard. They are not quite as stringently monitored as the Greek transit log and we picked ours up in Gallipoli . Regards Richard and Jude
After spending your 90 days in Greece. Did you use the bi-lateral visa agreement for your Italy stay? We are Aussies and will be sailing to the MED from the Caribbean in May/JUne
Hi, thanks for watching. We might bump into you this coming season then if you are making your way over. Have a look at our videos on how we beat the "Schengen Shuffle". These explain how we are extending our cruising time in the Med. Happy to answer any questions that you have. Regards Jude and Richard

Very good! Just a left comment and answer to a question on the “Naturally” Season 1 Episode 12 video.

Wow, that's a lot of times through the canal. We would love to get to Crete. There is just so much to see in the Med!
Oh thanks. Through the Suez 47 times? Amazing! I don’t know whether we’d ever get there. We missed Crete this year. Maybe next time.

refreshing you enjoy the open air. how foolish the restrictions.
Community guidelines only apply to UA-cam. That’s why we have our Naturally channel off UA-cam.
23:23 you are right, we don't need swimsuits!
Except on UA-cam we kinda do.
Happy Birthday
Thank you
I wish my wife liked sailing.
Jude had virtually no experience sailing but jumped in heart and soul. I’m so lucky.
24:55 Do you ever say Bread and butter when you are walking and are separated by an object?
Haha.. no. I can see the reference but I've never heard of this.
