£170 for a drone that has preset flight modes , follow me and you can control it with you phone. If you mountain biked in an open area I think you could really increase the speed and get even better shots. Great product DJI.
@@stevehurst1261 Definitely! A lot more practice and the footage could be a lot better. Especially with some change of settings and new firmware update
Ive used it a couple times since and I'll try to incorporate it in more videos. I think going without the controller to start is great because it's a cheaper option and you can get some really cool shots. The controller comes in handy when you are trying to go for more technical flights.
Best? At 3x, the price, untested, camera only obstacle avoidance, so will not work flying sideways in trees or other blocked environments. No FPV, no 2km range with the controller, no RTH. It will be interesting when it's finally released, but hype many times leads to disappointment!
@@gregb1599 Compared to this is a Lamborghini, this is just a strip down 4K drone, I bet if the features and quality of the Promax was in this strip down 4K drone I bet the money on that would be over $1,000 easy, to what we're getting with ProMax is a bargain, Promax does have beacon controller as I ordered comes in my combo pack as much better and these big bulky 2000S style equipments DJI have needs a deep bags and backpacks to carries around 👎

I would have thought you could. Although if you can do the firmware update it’s supposed to make the quality look better so I’d recommend doing that asap
That I would have to test. It depends on the trail too, if there’s tight corners where bushes could get in the way the drone is likely to lose you. However if it’s a more open trail it should be able to track well and the drone does go pretty quick
@@mjsmjs2765 Yeah absolutly. Only issue is the telegraph poles but that sort of trail would be perfect for it. Fast but open so the drone can see you the whole time
@@JayHurstMtb good video 👍🏼 but I’ll be returning mine as I think it’s crap. Even the features such as rocket don’t keep me in the centre of the frame then it just drops out recording, some time it records the voice and sometimes it doesn’t. Really expected more from DJI
DJI Neo, whatcha thinking? ⬇️
I tried it yesterday (bought it for my bike rides and hiking) and it very practical. it`s in the air withnig 10 seconds.
Just recently bought one, seems like a decent little drone, can’t wait to get back on the bike to try it on some open trails
@@MTB_George Awesome! Hope you get some cool shots when you get out 🤘🏻
I’ve a mp4 avata2 and neo im a mtb er what drone do I teach for?? The neo of course great job Dji and Triff vlog
@@Theolegit57 thank you! Oh that’s interesting having the avatar as well 🤘🏻
Hope you are using an insta x3 or X4..Do you think this drone can carry that which will produce a nice clarity video??
The x4 is fairly heavy and quite tall so I imagine if you were to stick it on the drone it would really affect its flying.
got mine 3 days ago. am enjoying it
Awesome!

Were you able to test it some more? Thinking about getting the one without the controller..

The solo option is around 210e here, I think it's ok price wise.. the "follow me" option is most interesting to me so no controller no biggie 😁
The best is Hoverair ProMax that's what I got and can't wait to get it next month in combo pack 🤞💪🔥✨

do i need to update the firmware before i ca use the 1080 60 fps?

That noise though…

18 minutes battery life 😂 ,I have this drone I'm not getting anywhere near that more like 14 minutes at best 😊
@@darrenowens1543 what mode you got it on? It definitely does vary though, more wind to fight against and the time does drop
The battery indicator is worthless! Always starts at about 7 min but somehow it flies twice as long!
