43:17 as doffy player i melted down, how we can not swing for 15 here? shanks has 7 cards in hand imaging event for 2 he needs to do event 2k 2k 2k which is unlikely that he has 3x 2k so probably 2k 2k 1k 1k or event 2k 1k 1k 1k 1k so thats 5-6 cards while he is holding 7 cards in the hand and even if we are not killing him there is no way he can kill us next turn with his 5 swings us with 4 lifes and 5-6 cards in the hand like wtf
I think what seperates good shanks players from average ones are shanks players who learn to play off curve to turtle up instead of playing straightforward and try to exhaust their 10c when they aren't needed. Sometimes your Rayleigh and Dragon will do most of the work.
I could only imagine how terrible it would’ve felt for the shanks to see a pudding drop in game 3 as a possibility lol. These were good games to watch tho. I play both of these decks and the security of the counters in hand from shanks seemed reassuring, but if a pudding gets dropped - I would’ve felt like flipping the table lol
He knows he aint winning this game fast, and he knows he will have to try and remove some of doffys units by swinging at them, not hitting face gives him less counter power i hand / a gravity trigger would be way to much at that point in time is my guess
Stop coping dude, nationality of the players have nothing to do with it. Doffy player had everything going for him round 3, he just got outplayed. I'm a Doffy main myself and was very impressed by the Shanks players gameplay.

Doffy has mostly 1ks in hand and only 3 life he can definitely die next turn.

Can someone explain me please why the Shanks Player in Game 1 and 3 doesn‘t swing in his 3 Don turn with 6K or 5K at leader?

He can't afford to give the opportunity for the opponents to clear board or he doesn't want to give doffi more cards in hand
