leemishima performed really well, so many 1,1,2 flash punches thrown it was really heartbreaking watching him vs arslan ash, he lost 2-0 but was at 2-3 in game 1... and during second game, a dropped punish that could have tied the score. sad to see him lose, but hopefully leemishima progresses further
I’m a big fan of your content and I’m grateful for you highlighting so many players (even if it’s Mishima-biased lol). What a W from Leemishima. Much love from Chile.
At 3:08, it's actually CBM's turn there, that's why he let ZEN u1 rip. Keito(bf2,3) for some reason got changed in T8 to be -9 on block, and if you ZEN, +2 on block. To be honest I will be surprised if Keito remains untouched in Season 2 because to me it's the hidden sauce that no one talks about. That means his i14 ZEN u1 came out at i12 from +2 and Heihachi can't do dick(1 jab will get crushed, and df1 loses framewise due to i13). Yes I know ZEN u1 is -16 but that's the mindgame lol.
@joevent And like I said, when he used Keito to enter ZEN on block at +2, his ZEN u1(i14 within ZEN) is now i12. Now let's go through the list. Heihachi's 1 jab(thus all the 1 jab strings) - gets crushed by the high evasion of ZEN u1 despite winning in frames. Dickjab despite being an sp.low/sp.mid also gets crushed because that is the power of the facken "Black Wing Rondo", lmao. Heihachi's df1 series - loses due to i13 Heihachi's 2,2 - Haven't tested. If his 2 jab has a lower hitbox than his 1 jab, then it should win at i11 both in frames and to stuff the evasion. It's also only -8. So potentially this is one option. Heihachi's 1+2 - Trades due to also being i12. I have to kinda test it further to see who it trades in favor with tbh but potentially this is an option. And since both 2,2 and 1+2 require Leemishima to be mashing those out due to the tightness of the Keito into ZEN u1 frametrap, and if CBM either didnt not enter ZEN, or already got the T8 version of the cancel(enter ZEN~df~ub:b) down then the 1+2 and 2,2 are risky. So while not LITERALLY 100% mathematically being CBM's turn... it's CBM's turn.
Obligatory "that's my country!". Also he looked to be in a big pickle in the second match, and he was holding on to dear life in the third match until he got the Victory Lap mode.
Us south americans are known more for MK, smash and kof, even I didn't know there was a strong Tekken community, I'm really happy with this Argentinian performance
Can I ask why uf21 isn't used? Isn't that a far reaching tracking mid with another tracking heat engaging follow up mid? the full string is unsafe but it's also confirmable right? So it's a near homing confirmable heat engaging mid move, why isn't it used? You can't sidewalk uf2, you have to sidestep it, however you can't side step f3, you have to sidewalk it. uf21 can just realign as well, and it is a heat dash launcher. So really I just don't understand why it isn't used. uf2 is -7, uf21 is -11, it realigns easily, is hitconfirmable, heat engages, heat dash launches, and sidestepping to the weakside gets you caught by f3, while also letting him get the extension off quick enough to disuade a punish from stepping uf2. Is it just me or does uf21 not sovle heihachi's linearity problem?
In Argentina we play with what we have. Everything is super expensive here. Thing are changing with the new economy but the changes are very new. And that's another reason players from Argentina don't go to tournaments much, it's very expensive.
Also, the poverty rate in Argentina is over 50% at the moment (Milei's tomfoolery has reduced the country to an economic mess far worse than anything it endured under the Peronists, which given the mess that they left the country in is saying a lot), so I find it difficult to believe that things are getting _more_ within people's reach in terms of affordability rather than less.
