I just graduated high school a little over a month ago. Some advice I would have wanted to know when I was a freshman would be… - classes are important but don’t stress yourself out too much to the point of burnout, stress, depression, etc. - do not get into a relationship your first year in high school especially with a person older than you - join clubs and a sport that you are really interested in and enjoy - be friendly, outgoing, and social but also make sure you take time out for yourself

as someone who has just recently graduated high school, i can honestly say that you should enjoy your freshman year as much as possible. my biggest regret was letting my anxiety interfere with my ability to have an enjoyable experience. but trust me, just do whatever you want with the opportunities you now have to grow and everything will be okay in the end :)
TO ANY FRESHMEN IN THE COMMENTS SCROLLING: I have some advice for you as a junior. So listen up! ❤ -obviously, you need good hygiene. NO ONE likes a stinky kid in anyway. Have clean clothes, brushed teeth, deodorant, and cologne/body spray just in case. -do not let people know you’re nervous. Act like you’ve been there for years! Smile, wave, and small talk. That’ll get you through -may be super specific but don’t hunch or waddle when walking. It makes you look scared. Be tall and strut confidently. Let people know you mean business! -ASK FOR HELP IF YOU NEED IT! Whether it’s to borrow something or find a class, always talk -talk whenever you get the chance. Make small talk! Ask someone how their day is, ask teachers a question, etc. -ALWAYS volunteer to go first. If you’re ever having to introduce yourself, go first. Other freshmen will be nervous and naturally gravitate towards the most confident person in the room. Instant popularity! -be calm and content. Try not to be too wild or “obnoxious.” However, don’t sound negative or like you’re moping. These are the basics. Good luck!
you got this!! what i did to make sure i didn’t get lost was find my school’s map and then draw a route, many images, but each had one route (so that they don’t overlap and i get confused) 😭😭 it was a bit much, but i didn’t need to ask for help, i got to my classes really easily, and didn’t get lost! i wish you the best of luck!

ohhh moving schools must be hard!! but i bet you’re gonna make so many friends. one of my friends said that they made so many new friends they never expected to! so i bet you’ll do just fine, highschool is a place to make new friends :) and yeah!! time really is flying by! i don’t even believe that summer break even happened! you should totally make a grwm!! i feel like it helps with being able to talk about your thoughts and possibly calming yourself down. hmm advice.. i’d just say be yourself! oh and be sure to try to organize your thoughts, mine were all over the place, maybe go in the notes all and jot some small key words so you can talk about it while getting ready. and tbh if this advice isn’t really that good, i would look up other grwm videos and try to find inspiration from that, be sure to do something that you know you would enjoy, like if you see everyone being aesthetic and giving montages but you don’t really like doing that, just don’t do it. just do what you’re most comfortable with :) and over time you can definitely improve and have more ideas. i hope that helped! and thank you so much!! i appreciate you saying that sm 🫶🏼🫶🏼 (also sorry for this being really long lol!)

baby freshman year is a breeze i promise, honestly it’s not a lot of work if you just keep up with all your assignments. i was asleep for almost all my classes LMAO😭. but it’s nothing to get overwhelmed with i promise

Honestly, it was my own fault. But freshman year was a struggle. I picked an ap class that was very difficult. And I had a lot of required classes, including biology which I was like terrible at. But in the end, I aced every single test, but I'm kinda greatful because the classes were so hard compared to the test that it helped, so if your classes are super hard, just know you have a pretty good chance at passing the final
Watching this to ease my nerves about highschool. Im already having to attend band camp and that is nothing short of stressful. we are having to pass off two (KINDA HARD) songs we just got this friday! On top of that we are learning to march. Then in a few weeks i start highschool as a freshman. yay. absolutely terrified.

It wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. I got around shockingly well until last period when I finally got lost lol (which is funny bc the period before that i was talking about how i hadnt got lost all day). Lunch kinda sucked though. I had to sit by myself for half of it until a sophomore invited me to sit with her and her friends (which was so nice like that literally made my day). Hopefully i can sit with them again tomorrow 😭 and finally………i missed my bus 🧍♀️ BUT ITS OKAY BC MY MOM JUST PICKED ME UP LMAO anyway despite some of the bad parts i liked it and maybe hs wont be so bad! -ASK FOR HELP IF YOU NEED IT! Whether it’s to borrow something or find a class, always talk
-talk whenever you get the chance. Make small talk! Ask someone how their day is, ask teachers a question, etc.
-ALWAYS volunteer to go first. If you’re ever having to introduce yourself, go first. Other freshmen will be nervous and naturally gravitate towards the most confident person in the room. Instant popularity!
-be calm and content. Try not to be too wild or “obnoxious.” However, don’t sound negative or like you’re moping.

you got this!! what i did to make sure i didn’t get lost was find my school’s map and then draw a route, many images, but each had one route (so that they don’t overlap and i get confused) 😭😭 it was a bit much, but i didn’t need to ask for help, i got to my classes really easily, and didn’t get lost! i wish you the best of luck!

ohhh moving schools must be hard!! but i bet you’re gonna make so many friends. one of my friends said that they made so many new friends they never expected to! so i bet you’ll do just fine, highschool is a place to make new friends :) and yeah!! time really is flying by! i don’t even believe that summer break even happened! you should totally make a grwm!! i feel like it helps with being able to talk about your thoughts and possibly calming yourself down. hmm advice.. i’d just say be yourself! oh and be sure to try to organize your thoughts, mine were all over the place, maybe go in the notes all and jot some small key words so you can talk about it while getting ready. and tbh if this advice isn’t really that good, i would look up other grwm videos and try to find inspiration from that, be sure to do something that you know you would enjoy, like if you see everyone being aesthetic and giving montages but you don’t really like doing that, just don’t do it. just do what you’re most comfortable with :) and over time you can definitely improve and have more ideas. i hope that helped! and thank you so much!! i appreciate you saying that sm 🫶🏼🫶🏼 (also sorry for this being really long lol!)

Honestly, it was my own fault. But freshman year was a struggle. I picked an ap class that was very difficult. And I had a lot of required classes, including biology which I was like terrible at. But in the end, I aced every single test, but I'm kinda greatful because the classes were so hard compared to the test that it helped, so if your classes are super hard, just know you have a pretty good chance at passing the final

@@MeiMeiChris hi again. Today was my first day of highschool and for some reason i felt like updating you on it lmao. I have a few classes with my friends and my best friend so thats good. It wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. I got around shockingly well until last period when I finally got lost lol (which is funny bc the period before that i was talking about how i hadnt got lost all day). Lunch kinda sucked though. I had to sit by myself for half of it until a sophomore invited me to sit with her and her friends (which was so nice like that literally made my day). Hopefully i can sit with them again tomorrow 😭 and finally………i missed my bus 🧍♀️
