How to get more HIP ROTATION in the backswing

  • So often I have players coming to me with very limited pelvic rotation in the backswing. This leads to a lack of club head speed, many compensations to try and shallow the club in the downswing, and often puts extra pressure on the low back from the upper body torquing it too much. And it's usually not that they don't have the flexibility to do it, they just haven't learned the proper concepts.
    Here's a great exercise to start teaching your muscles how to engage and move properly in the backswing.
