In honor of the 50th anniversary of Title IX, NWHM hosted a special fireside conversation with Gwendolyn Mink, daughter of Congresswoman Patsy Mink, and NWHM Scholars Advisory Council Member, Dr. Judy Tzu-Chun Wu, co-authors of the book, "Fierce and Fearless: Patsy Takemoto Mink, First Woman of Color in Congress."
In a conversation moderated by the National Women’s Law Center’s Emily Martin, Mink and Wu discuss Patsy Mink’s courageous but often overlooked efforts to pass Title IX and the legacy of this landmark legislation.
