Kerry was pregnant twice while on the show so it wouldve been the perfect time for Olivia to have a child at least at the end of Fitz presidency. A little Olitz baby would've been great at some point
KW later said in an interview that she asked Shonda to include it but Shonda was firmly against it saying that Olivia only has one vulnerability-Fitz. I disagree with that bc her Gladiators, her father, her mother, her need for control, etc. all made her toxic and/or vulnerable to go off a cliff for these things and people.

I support ur choice Liv, Fitz was n a lot of pain & deeply hurt when he spoke those words. But he really didn't support the abortion. He was hurt that he was not consulted I also think he spoke briefly abt it n an interview. He had been wrestling with her decision. Rowan is determined to get Olivia to the Oval by any means necessary for him through manipulation, deception, lies, cheating, and even murder. Olivia being with Fitz is a distraction to Rowan. He wants power through his daughter. Since Rowan not getting any loving from MamaPope, Rowan said, Olivia don't need no loving either. this is the way I see it. I'm a 100%Fitz fan and I really hate to see him sad. Maybe there's Hope for them in Scandal season 6 and hopefully Olivia realize there's such thing as true love.

Shonda wrong for not writing in Kerry’s pregnancy like she did with Katie’s. You’d think it would’ve been the opposite, but I guess she felt she would have to end the show if Kerry’s was written in. Even though she could’ve and just had them only discuss & show the baby here and there and still carry on the show, we didn’t see Fitz/Mellie/Cyrus kids in the show often. In hindsight I think the baby Olivia aborted was Jakes. She was messing with him before she got back with Fitz. But she said the only man she’s ever loved was Fitz so if it wasn’t his she wouldn’t have wanted it.

There was no clarity with the abortion story and we never got a detailed outlook in this situation. There was the choice of Jake being Vice President which Liv might have thought the president was talking about. Am sure this clip was meant to show us that Liv knew Fits found out but as most of us watching,we are not sure Liv knows. I just wish they broke this part down like other situations even if it meant her asking Abby how the President found out.
