@@goyashy I'm a newbie with Claude and for feedback on ideas for characters, settings and stories I would start a chat and then when I came to the end of the context window I would have Claude summarize the chat and use it as the basis for a new chat to continue the conversation. But so much detail and nuance was lost that way. Your video made me see I could instead attach a 20-page pdf of my notes and use that as the basis for each new chat rather than a simple summary. That alone is a huge improvement. In addition, the project feature allows Claude to maintain more context over multiple chats. I know your video was focused more on enterprise use cases, but it's cool to see that it's transferable to personal creative projects. Thanks again.
Super useful thanks. Do you know if the size of the files you load into a project impact how many chats you can have. For example if you load a 500 page PDF in, do you get a lower number of chats compared to if you had loaded a 5 page PDF?
Yep. Most certainly, the backend is probably a RAG based architecture. Which means, the context window is still limited, a longer document will impact the accuracy, but again, it's totally possible that Claude has an efficient setup in place.

Customgpts are customer facing, but this one has long context window so ideal for longer chats
Thanks for sharing. Do you know if some files are better than others? For example could I use spreadsheets, powerpoint documents, images, etc.? I'm sure they can be uploaded but I'm just not sure of the quality.
Having easy text files or CSV is usually the best thing to do. Claude can easily access content without necessary parsing
Unfortunately this Project feature is not available for Claude free plans and it is available only for the Team and Pro plans.
