The crew is a Dassault demo crew - the pilot in the left seat is the Chief Pilot. Im fairly confident that both of them know how to fly the aircraft including the use of trim.

Haha, crazy guys, love seeing these Falcons make it into shorter strips. That smoke cloud at 3:14 was great! Boys and their toys. Be safe and continue enjoying this amazing privilege. Always wanted to make it up to MCD. Still have some work to do but will get there!

Took the last taxi with a king air 260
back in 2012, thought we going to over run. This thing is very impressive!!!!

260 wasn't out in 2012. And if you can't stop a king air in 3500 ft you may wanna re think who's flying it 😂

I loved every minute I spent flying Falcons and I hope to again before hanging up the spurs. I have to admit though, I really wish Dassault would put a 2 second timer on the trim before the "in-motion" clacker would sound. Nobody would have to hear it except for config changes.

I just received the PIC Type Rating in the DA2000. It’s an impressive aircraft. However, I don’t understand why the flying pilot kept trimming the jet constantly. The way I was always taught is to feel the controls and trim it to reduce the control force. Am I missing something here, as the techniques of constant non stop trimming by the left seat pilot is unfamiliar to me. Falcon 2000 trimming mechanism does make a lot of clicking noise and we call it shooting bullets. lol.

That’s what I was thinking… he must have been continuously slowing down which required him to constantly re trim. He was never stabilized!

3500 foot of runway and he turns at first taxiway...pretty fair piloting

Our company Lear 60 would have still been doing 80 knots while we ran off the end. We are considering a Falcon 2000 for its lower ref speeds.

Only a few hundred feet above S.L. but you better make sure that your calculations are dead-on before take off/landing. Great Footage!

Can anyone out there in Falcon land tell me what the LRC MACH is for the 2000LXS? I have read numbers that go all over the place so a real number would be appreciated. Thank you. Sorry, I just looked and I have asked this before with zero response so never mind!

Not entirely how using the trim as the plane slows down has anything to do with stability……..Maybe heavy in pitch…..but stability?
