I think this is the best review I’ve ever watch on UA-cam, a lot of coffee maker video are not detail and non sense bs. But this one really tell you and show you everything lol
Thank you! I have to demo this machine for the first time tomorrow...and I watched several reviews of it...none was as detailed and crystal clear as yours!
I have this machine for 1 year now and its absolutely fantastic with no issues...good to make a single glass of latte or capuccino and espressos or even hot milk...small and compact machine....doesnt require much maintenance as long as u clean the milk container everytime after use.
Is it ok to give it even less milk than stated as i dont like to much milk in coffee. I mean if i fill holder under the line will it just shut off and not damage pump inside? Thanks for video
very well done..love the product and got as a gift..question, when using the froth option is it an espresso measurement or lungo. I am use to using a frother to top my lungo...this seems to be a shorter pour.
Do you just press the latte button to make a latte or cappuccino. If so how does machine know if you have a espresso capsule or lungo capsule in. As these would require a different amount of water?
Steve M, you are correct - just press the latte button to make either a latte or cappuccino. The latte button only uses an espresso amount of water but uses either a single or double portion of milk from the frothing container (depending on how much milk you put into it - the machine optically senses the amount of milk in the container). To make a lungo, you would press the lungo button (the middle button).
Hi ty you for the vedio but I have to clean the milk container after each cup this will be so boring and is it going to stop making another cup if I m not cleaning ty
MrJDH1111 there are a few ways to do this. The Lungo button will run more water through a single capsule to get more coffee, but you'll have a slightly weaker brew - the same effect would happen if you ran the espresso button twice with the same pod. To get a full-strength double shot, it will take 2 nespresso capsules each ran through the espresso button once. You could experiment with the strengths of each of these methods to find what you like best. Hope this helps 👨🍳
Rigs, the "Lungo" button will produce more espresso than the standard espresso button. In the manual, there are directions to add or subtract water to each function to match your coffee preferences. I hope this helps!
Great video! If you want to make 2 lattes in a row can you just refill the milk and once complete with both do the cleaning then? Or do you have to do a clean after each latte?
Hi, thank you for the detailed review. My question is: when I make a latte, it does not use all the milk like your machine did. Ia there an option for that?
Hi Raneem, this is normal for the machine to not use all the milk (our machine did have some milk leftover not easily seen by the camera). If it is leaving a lot of milk, you would want to contact Delonghi to troubleshoot your machine. I hope this helps!
Nesreen, I haven't tried it, but you possibly could. If you do not load a capsule, you can still use the latte button to froth milk - however, water will still pump through the machine, just have a cup for your hot water and for frothed milk. I hope this helps!
