The voiceover bit whilst you were doing your gardening was so beautiful! The music blended in so well and it really made me at peace. Thank you, I didn’t realise how much I needed to hear this ❤️

It is a treat when you upload. What a wonderful father's day. What ever you do with your hair you look beautiful, I always thinking noooo don't cut it and then you prove me wrong every time. The garden looks beautiful, I love seeing the birds and flowers stunning.

It's such a privilege to get little updates on your life 🙂 what you're feeling seems entirely reasonable given all the circumstances and your garden voiceover nailed it. It's a genuine highlight to watch your new uploads even 5 years after subscribing to your channel

As someone who's going through a break up, I really needed to hear "It's not The End, it's An End, and a new beginning." Thanks for reminding me of this. I know it already, but hearing it from you has made all the difference.💚

Nice metaphorical ending there, picking up the camera after it had fallen over! Great video! :)

If you like rhyming Tucker then you should try The Dinky Donkey book for Lana. I have it for my kiddos. Its cute. Also, for sleep methods, my son always thrives on a schedule where my daughter does way better on relaxed sleep. Every babe is different I guess. Loving your monthly scrapbook videos! ❤

I feel you on the existential crisis! Sounds like something I went through a while ago. It's eased now, and I've come to find comfort in the vastness of what I don't understand about life, consciousness, the universe, etc. I feel more like what I am - a complicated ape on an improbable home planet - and have let go of the very human belief that all this *gestures broadly* is or can be categorised and understood. It was a long process though. I find solace in the magnitude of space, and enjoyment in my lack of comprehension. It feels right that so much of what exists is weird and huge and beyond the grasp of our understanding, but also that small things like love, grief, and the rituals of daily life are exactly to human scale. I feel suspended between the knowable and the unknowable; the vast and the regular; the unfathomable and the ordinary, and that tension fuels joy and wonder, for me.
The modern world - by which I broadly mean western capitalism - is nonsense, really, but it sells itself as reality. That life can be captured, labelled, packaged, and sold. I sometimes catch myself feeling like an experience isn't real if I haven't spent money to attain it, if I haven't seen it advertised, if it's not been shown to me on social media, if society hasn't already written a story about it. But the truth is that you can get beyond all of that quite easily with practice and live within the magic of everyday reality if you choose to believe in it.
Anyway, I might be wildly off course with what you're going through, but something about what you said chimed with my own thoughts and feelings so just wanted to share. Wishing all the best for you and your beautiful family

I also recommend reading Sartre for any existential crisis. I read him a lot for my undergraduate degree and I love his quote: 'man is condemned to be free; because once thrown into the world, he is responsible for everything he does. It is up to you to give life a meaning'. It reminds me that my identity and purpose are completely down to me to decide :)

I feel like I go through an existential crisis every few weeks questioning existence, what created us, all that! Lately I've been so worried about all the time that has passed and how suddenly I'm near 30.. so I completely relate! I absolutely loved the gardening bit with the narration

I would love to see a hair transformation because I just think messing with hair is fun lol. I support whatever hair choices you make though even if you choose to stay the same! P.S.: I always loved your vlogs and now that I myself have a channel I find myself thinking "ergh...my vlogs are shit" when watching yours. Nooo, I refuse to ruin UA-cam by comparing myself to the people I admire around here. I'm now looking at you as an inspiration like "I wanna be like Kiera" when I grow up (nevermind the fact that I'm actually older than you XD). You just have such a special way of capturing life 💛 good luck with your photography!

I think that if you are a highly sensitive person it’s not unusual to think about the bigger picture, why, how, and what more is there etc. Maybe more people should consider it too. I think it’s actually a really positive thing, a wonderful thing and definitely not something you need ‘help’ for. We are all spiritual beings grappling with a human existence. Our souls already know way more than our human consciousness 💜

I also read somewhere recently that if you zoom out of a galaxy its looks VERY similar to the nucleus of a cell. Are we one cell of zillions hanging off some animal?! 😂

If you are comfortable with it, I would love a video about your existential crisis. Too many people take insatiable curiousity and frustration at the world as personal depression but it's just being reflective and realistic.

A lot of people are having existential crisis during COVID. I lost a sister, a very good friend, a cousin and a women I used to work with this year. Just like fact we are in a pandemic makes you react. Who would have thought we'd be in this state in this day and age?

You know, I follow mostly people that are around the same age as me and a lot of them have recently started families / got kids. I unfollowed most of them, because I can't identify with the things that are going on in their lives anymore and their content that obviously changed a lot along with their lives just isn't interesting to me anymore (I don't have and don't want kids so it just doesn't resonate with me).
But with you it's just different, I love the calming vibe of your videos so much, I always did since I found your channel quite a few years ago and it just doesn't feel like it changed a whole lot somehow... I mean, of course a lot has changed for you and in your life and you probably changed yourself because of that (at least I can imagine birthing a baby can change someone very drastically). But your videos still feel the same to me. I always feel so calm, relaxed, happy and inspired when I watch your videos and I love that. Thank you for still finding the time to share your life with us. 💚🌿
Lots of love and I hope you're having an amazing July!
Oh, also: I love that the Xena hair is back, saw it on Instagram! 🙌

I can emphathise with your existential crisis. I had one a while ago and it was the weirdest feeling. It was like a minor out of body experience stretched over a week or so. The human brain is not equipped to understand all the complexities and wonders of the universe.

    • @KieraRose
      @KieraRose  3 роки тому +3

100%, an out of body experience is a great way to describe it. Kind of depersonalisation...but not. Something deeper. Maybe like a slow motion psychedelic trip while sober haha

I would say that what you are going through is evidence of eternity being written on our hearts. We are created by a loving God who has made us to know him in fullness. The comfort you find in the rhythm of nature is a love message of his faithfulness, he is constant, and his glory is on display in those teeny flowers, your daughter’s eyes, and the vastness of the universe. He sees you and would welcome your questions and burdens, he is an awesome Father 🙏🏻💗🌿✝️

    Hi Kiera,
I have been praying for years that you would come to know Jesus. In this vlog it gave me hope that you are becoming aware of your longing to know.
To know and find answers to all the mind warping questions you have. I have been there too, it's very distressing.
God will answer you, if you genuinely ask Him.
And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. - Jeremiah 29:13
💕😍💕😍God is not a man that He should lie. He will answer you if you genuinely ask Him. I pray you will ask Him, and you will find it in Jesus.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life." John 14:6
    :) x
