I recently got two intersting IEM's by Senfer (DT6 and DT8). First one use 3 different drivers per side (1DD+1BA+Piezo). Fiio recently released a new IEM under the Jade Audio brand. It's called the Jade Audio EA3. I just bought a pair, they are pretty cheap, only 39.99$ at the moment (49.99$ once the initial batch sells out.) The balanced armature used in the EA3 is exactly the same as the one used in the FH1 (Knowles 33518.) The dynamic driver is bigger on the EA3 (13.6 mm as opposed to the 10 mm driver used in the FH1) Fiio claims the EA3 is a FH1 replacement as tuning is claimed to be improved If these turn to be as good as the FH1s or even better, there is no real reason to pick up the FH1 or the FH9s as both have been outclassed by newer products. The shell used in the EA3 looks sick and makes the IEMs look way more expensive then what they are actually worth.
Hi, i am watching your channel for a while now and my honest opinion is that you do a great job, a very relaxing voice.and you always handle the more important things of IEMS, things that people want to hear and i like you mix it a bit with your own opinion. I have the FH1 and i took away the mesh that is inside the bore and it really opens up the highs in a great way. Now i also have the HIFIBOY OS V3, i really hope one day i will see a review of you about it because they are really beautiful.
Super* Review if you use it with the red boring silicons it sounds much better, but i recently bought the symbio mandarines with foam inside and they bring the sound to a next level for me, also with my OS V3.
@@davegorthuis679 OK, just did the mod. The difference isn't big to my ear, but it does seem to express a bit more detail + pin sharpness. With this mod and an EQ, the FH1 does sound pretty dope. On my Walkman, I've got frequencies below 400Hz down by 2dB, and a 2dB bump around 2.5kHz.
some time ago i would have screamed blasphemy as I love my FH1's but after spending a week with the T2 Pro's i totally get his opinion here. The level of detail in the T2's does trump the FH1's and honestly i'll probably reach for the T2s more often. FH1's are a great pair they just have some fierce competition in the price range. And yes they are super comfortable to the point that now i seriously consider comfort as a major concern for iems.
Oh you on that T2 Pro train, too 😎 If someone makes a T2 Pro sound in a shell that fits as perfectly as the FH1, I'll be done looking for the best headphones.
Just subscribed. Enjoying your reviews. Do you have a favorite IEM with a microphone to also make calls. Really happy to pay $500+ but can't really find any higher-end IEMs with a microphone also
I think I have made exactly zero phone calls with an IEM, so I might be of no help. But, there are plenty of IEM cables that you can buy with a microphone -- MMCX or 2-pin -- so you should be able to make any IEM decent for the purpose. I haven't tested the mics, but Fiio might be more likely to make a decent mic cable than some lesser-known brand.
@@SuperReview well, one thing for sure. The f9 pro doesn't sound as warm as fh1 😁 it's more of a neutral iem. I think the strong point is its detail retrieval and wiide soundstage.
Yesterday I removed the mesh and it does seem to open up the highs a bit, but I wouldn't call it anywhere near bright. But I agree it responds well to EQ.
If I mostly listen to acoustic music (Jazz, Folk, ...) and which isolation and sound quality are important to me, which one would you recommend between the Fiio FA-1, Shure SE 215, Fiio FH1 and the Rose Mark-2? Which one do you like the least? Thanks and amazing review by the way
The black one is like alien head which is very cool for me, will get this next month!! Or it does same nozzle like shure se215 which has small nozzle for specific eartips like comply t-100 series, spinfit cp800
I'm being picky, but you're describing these as warm while using the "bass" eartips (at least in your b-roll). I use the F9 Pro's which are brighter, come with foam tips and vocal slanted tips in addition to the two kinds in FH1 package. All four give different signatures to a degree.
I'll try the black tips -- in my experience, narrow bores give more bass vs. wider bores. I tried the black tips briefly and didn't immediately notice a difference, so I went back to the reds based on my past experience.
Listened a bit with the black tips + another person suggested removing the metal screen. Both changes have opened up the treble a bit. The black tips definitely increase sibilance for my ears, but it's not real bad. Still a warm sound but the added treble does seem to add a better sense of stage 👍

Got a pair on order, but they're coming on a boat so will be a while.
This vs tin audios T2s?
T2s for me. More space / separate / stage, and less bass, which I prefer. The FH1 does fit a lot nicer than the T2, would be better for active stuff.
@@SuperReview thanks, I've bought the T2s on your recommendation and it's been a very nice addition to my collection of IEMs.
@@serginaru Nice, what else do you use?
Review fiio f9 .not the pro. The normal version
Rew. fiio fh1s please
You may want to review Jade Audio EA3, which is made by Fiio's subsidiary company - Jade Audio. I've read that it is positioned to be the successor of FH1. I had been listening to it for a while, and this thing is definitely a bright earphone with some good mids and bass. You might enjoy the treble on EA3 more than the FH1. For mine, the harshness has reduced a bit after 20 - 30 hours of burn in, still have another 70 to go, so if you are going to review it, just take note that out of the box it could sound a bit different.

you mentioned them being good for running, are they protected good enough from sweat damaging them? Does anyone have experience with that?
That's a fair question. I really don't know. There's another pair I'm testing, Mee M6 Pro 2nd Generation, that advertises sweat resistance, and they have a similarly secure fit. I like their sound better, too.
Do fiio fh1s please
Toneking to400s review please 🙏🙏
Whoa, 400 ohm earbuds!?
What would you say the best cheap headphone is? Like, in the $40 and under range
Co-Donguri Brass 👍

@@SuperReview it's ok us fans can wait😁
@@KiT.02 There is also the CCA C10 which seems really interesting but no one knows it exists (made in collaboration with KZ or something like that). It has a similar shell to the KZ ZSN but a similar driver config to the KZ ZS10 (1DD + 4BA per side). Some interesting stuff :p
@@DevilDead13820 pretty sure its above 50 bucks because of it's great specs

Please do.

'Spensive! They look dope, though. Yo Fiio, hit me up :)
@@SuperReview oh ahaha yup pretty spensive...i thought you were already sponsored by companies..my bad.so you bought the products you review?
@@unforsaken552 I buy most of them, but some are sent to me. (I bought the FH1.) If someone sends me a product, I disclose it in the video description ✌️
@@SuperReview hopefully you can also review the BGVP DM6.. got a lot of hype surrounding it..but anyways another great video man and thanks for you time replying really appreciate it
Don't be afraid to review them negatively. Youre just afraid to not get free items anymore
I paid for these, homie.
This guy is one of the snake oil reviewers out there. Come on man theyre not good recommend something better. Sony mh1c sounds better than this fh1
LOL, that's one way to say you disagree. "Not bad, but not great -- 3/5." "Bro, you selling me snake oil? Check out these discontinued Sonys."
Where can I buy one and be 100% sure it's not counterfeit?
@@DGardn100 I got mine on Amazon.
@@SuperReview You got the Sony MH1 off Amazon? That's the one I'm asking about. It seems to be a crapshoot in terms of whether or not the Sony MH1 you buy is genuine.
@@DGardn100 Gotcha, no, I got FH1 on Amazon.
FH1 are earphones NOT headphones!!!
I'll keep calling them headphones.
