Waterfall Ruff

hat’s up guys!!! Back again with Creating with Ebbie!!!! Knew you couldn’t stay away lol
Stuck on crochet? Don’t know how to clear the funk? I can help you itch that scratch lol!!! Let’s go ahead and make a waterfall ruffle beanie. I made this waterfall stitch out of front post double crochets and back post double crochets. It’s a fun process, so sit back grab your needle and let’s get this party started.
Loop, 3-4 chains (whatever makes you happy) slip stitch to first chain.
R1: chain 3 (counts as first double crochet) 11 double crochets, slip stitch to top of chain 3.
R2: chain 3, 2 double crochets per stitch. Slip stitch to top of chain 3.
R3:ch 3, 2 double crochet, 1 double crochet, alternate each stitch, slip stitch top of chain 3
R4: Ch 3, 1 Double crochet next stitch, 2 dc in the next. 1 dc, 1 dc, 2 dc, until the end. Slip stitch top of chain 3.
R5: Ch 3, 1 dc, 1dc, 2 dc. 1 dc, 1 dc, 1 dc, 2 dc. Until the end, SS in top of chain.
R6: ch 2, front post dc, front post dc, front post dc, back post dc, back post dc. Repeat til the end SS in top of chain.
R7-11: move one stitch to the left. Ex: this row will be Back post dc, front post dc, front post dc, front post dc, back post dc. So R8 is back post dc, back post dc, front post dc, front post dc, front post dc. then R9 you’ll carry on by moving the first stitch to the left of the row before, creating the water fall.
R12: Ch 2, 5 Double crochet per stitch. SS top of chain 2.
R13: ch 2, 5 dc per stitch again. SS in ch 2. Cut two inches away and sew in. (Will be taught in another video)
Bam! Ruffle stitch beanie. Simple right?! WRONG !!!! This is tough man lol, but fun!!!
