June garden update & tips

Hello hello
This video gives an update of my current garden and gives a bit of advise.
Basil - to keep leaves tasty pinch off potential flowers so the plant keeps its focus and energy on the leaves
Tomatoes - if under stress the plant may flower early. Might hinder flavors and size of fruit
Green beans- be good at finding Waldo to find the green beans. If you let them go the plant will determine it has been successfully at making a seed and will start to die off. Make sure to pluck all green beans that are of a good size and don’t let the pods go to full maturity
Japanese Beatles - soapy water will kill them. You can use normal dish soap and water in a bucket. Flick the buggers into the bucket. Also if you get traps, it may be best to be a yard or two from your plants. I put mine next to the tree and can’t tell if the tree is worse off for having more Beatles going to the area. Traps did capture several hundred at this point but the trees still have a dozen or so. Try to keep on the plants that are infested, they will kill off the plant if you let them go.
