I Played STARFIELD After The HYPE (10 Months Later)

- Starfield had a lot hype and promises to live up to but it unfortunately didn't even come close to any of it. It's frustrating and intentionally boring. So much so that even paint drying is a valid comparison.
So here we are 10 months later and I literally tried playing STARFIELD For 12 Hours VS Watching Paint Dry (no seriously) to find out why starfield didn't work beyond being mid and how boring it really is.

This is my first ever long form video made all by myself. It took an embarrassingly long time to make. But I learned a lot about video making, editing, scripting, youtube, all the good stuff.
Hope whoever watches this likes it.

I lost it after touching the artifact and hearing Tod say “it just works.” 😂 Well played
Using Skyrim's dragon ai but adapted to space ship would have made so much sense 😢
Surprised you don’t have more subs, but this was a good video.
I appreciate that!
Very good video, i hope you make more
Thank you, I will
Too much truth in a short period of time. I think this video may have actually been a shared fever dream!
“Here I touched another thing that gave me a trip”
.. sounds like that happens to you a lot. Yeah I was one of those kids who poked things in sockets too.
You just made me feel dumb for not realizing that there should be nothing that would slow the space ship down after the boost because it's space. My mind was just hardwired to think that after a boost, cars slow down in video games. Thank you for rewiring my mind into leaning towards science more than video game mechanics/physics.
@rosshaikenleonen1416 haha I wish I didn't notice it. But I did. And now you did. Sorry lol
But there is.. it's called retrothrusters and they are on the front of your ship. If only people actually took the time to look at the details..
Bethedsta defended the loading screens by saying it was needed to have the large scale of planets. There’s only one problem with that tho: there’s nothing on the planets but the same copy and paste structures. For a triple AAA title released in 2023, Starfield is embarrassing. Your summary was concise and perfect. I had a lot of the same gripes, and finally finished it when mods made things somewhat fun.
Totally on point.
I am hoping to try the game once again with mods later on. Any recommendations?
Just because the planets are just 'empty landscapes' doesn't disprove that point. Those landscapes, the tiles you land in, are their own cells/worldspaces and that's how the Creation Engine works. It has nothing to do with the amount of content in them or not.
@@Fuar11 majority of the gaming community disagrees with you. Enjoy your desolate video game tho
@@RabbitWatchShop The majority of the gaming community can't DISAGREE with a statement of fact. That's how the ENGINE works.
Whether planets have stuff on them or not is another discussion. I'd like to see a game do it better. Because so far there hasn't been a single space game that doesn't have "desolate" planets.
@@Fuar11 right, which is why the game should have been made with a new engine. Which was also convered by the gaming community. Which brings us back to my original point: Starfield is a desolate, boring pseudo open world RPG with a short story filled with bugs and cringey dialogue. And a story that makes zero sense regarding the Starborn.
Starfield can’t be defended.
Hahaha! Spot on. Thank you for making me laugh. It slightly made up for the hundred bucks I spent on this stupid game.
Midfield is it's new name
Na I’ll call it modfield because it’s a modder paradise because the game so called mid modders have a sandbox in the midfield universe
Playing this game without mods are not the way to go
Lol probably. Any mod list or collection you can recommend?
@@DoubleBubble9000 the best mods for me are the clothing mods to get better clothes for your companions and your self the Color filter mod to make the game look realistic and more pleasing to look at the big butt clothing mods don’t ask just install the interstellar mod to make your ship travel faster then the speed of light there’s nothing better then traveling to a star and getting up close and enjoying the view from inside your ship to much mods to much 🤯
The interstellar mod sounds really cool.
they should take lessons from Gothic games and what open world game really means. They came with this game copy paste from the other past games like Fallout and TES, same mechanics but more boring storyline than those ... i didn't expected of this from Bethesda ...
