The UC Berkeley campus is still so charming and beautiful. The student body is wonderfully diverse with majority students from “in-state residents” with reduced tuition. My son is a junior there majoring in mathematics, so great he is among Nobel prize winners, and other noted academics.

Swell. Now 30% of UCB students are international (mostly Chinese) and are receiving an education paid for (in part) by California taxpayers. The UC system was funded by Californians and should educate Californians, with international enrollment limited to 5% at most.

International students are how UC makes the majority of its money

      Stoopid much?!
Foreign students pay full tuition. That supports local in-state California students at a much lower cost.
My son is a junior at Berkeley majoring in Mathematics! The campus is still so beautiful and vibrant - and diverse!
