in french it’s "Grand Froid", which is the exact translation of Kælan Mikla. Sadly it doesn’t really have an exact definition in english, I would just say it’s an extreme cold wave, maybe "Big Cold", "Extreme Cold" would make sense ?

@@svngnsbrg As far as I understand 'Kaelan Mikla' was a character in the 'Moomins' series of books, which were originally written in Finnish. It is a reference to a sort of Nordic goddess, whose name in English roughly translates to 'The Lady of the Cold'.
