It is also implied in his supports with Sylvain that he gave the unnamed girl Sylvain dared him to ask out a dagger. Now, Byleth, interestingly, has a dagger in her ensemble that she always keeps with her. All of her outfits that aren't either for relaxing, fanservice, or a special occasion, contain the dagger. So we could assume that Jeralt, at some point in her life, gave her the dagger, and that is why she always keeps it with her. She never uses it. It's just there on her hip, regardless of gender. We know that Jeralt was a former knight of Faerghus, and therefore would have an understanding of their culture. So I would assume that a dagger has special meaning in the country of Faergus, therefore, it would actually be a rather romantic gift. Thank you for reading my random essay about my headcanon.

Evan and Jared were best friends and he just left Jerad in the dark the second he had an oppritunity with Zoe(y) he just forgot all about his friend just to sort of build up this fantasy world for Zoe(y) when as far as we know she's not everything to Connor. Connor didn't care about her at all! He just decided that he would be a jerk to Zoe(y) and everyone else around him. Sincerely Me is the start of this fantasy world, and right here Evan is basically just pouring out his feelings to Zoe(y) but lying and saying, "oh this is what Connor thought of you, not me!" He also leaves his poor mother Hidey behind and she has tried for so long to help Evan but he doesn't listen. He doesn't realize just how lucky he is to not only have a supportive mother, but to actually have a true friend and to have all these rescources available to him! He gets therapy and can actually afford to go to the Doctors. And yet his pereferd method to escape all his problems is Suicide! He has people who care about him, who don't care what he wears, what he looks like, how cool he is! And the same goes for Connor Murphy too! He treated his poor little sister horribly and leaves behind this mess after he commits suicide! Evan decides to pick it up amd reshape it into a wprld to protect Zoe(y) from who her older brother actually was! And she buys it hard! She starts to begin beliving that her brother wasn't just a jerk to her! And the sad part is that none of what Evan tekks her is true for Connor, it's all just little things that Evan has noticed or thought after spending so much time watching this girl that he just picks up on all her little habits. And when Zoe(y) said that Connor seemed far it was because he was living in his own world, he had his own problems, he was battling his own demons and he just got so fed up with it all that he coukdn't take it anymore, and I think that Evan's letter was a breaking point for Connor because he saw that someone else knew Zoe(y). He knew Zoe(y) but didn't really know her. If he had been nearly as observant as Evan had been all these years then he would've started to get to know the real Zoe(y) and she might've been a reason for him to stay alive. Connor became Evan and Jared's puppet to play with and toy with as they pleased. Jaered's feelings were never considered, which I don't like! Evan was just a mess trying to help eveyone while changing everything about himself and leaving his mother and life-long best friend in the dark and starting a new life where they didn't exist! Mom who? Jared Kleinman who?
