Right portions of the angles, in my grandpa's old fashion portions of any woods. Beautifully designed

You’re doing a great job Diego. Probably the nicest woodshed I ever seen and your use of natural materials for 99% of the build is impressive.

It's too nice for just a wood shed, now you'll have to build a wood shed!!

    Great video.
I absolutely love the use of natural materials. Cedar is such a beautiful wood and I am glad you were able to use the fallen trees so they don't go to waste.
Great use of the upper "attic" space, always good for additional storage.

Once the roof is on and the structure gets dried out, you can load up a garden pump sprayer with 50/50 diesel and used motor oil and cover it, especially the joints, with this mixture. It prevents dry rot and keep powder post beetles away. Then every other year in late summer when the wood is dry blast it again and the woodshed will last forever. Takes on a nice darker hue and makes it look like a pioneer structure. An old farmer trick for preserving wood.

I’d have to say….. April 25th. It’s not too hot, not too cold. And you could wear a light jacket. 🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂. I have to say Diego, I’m kind of jealous. That is one 🔥🔥🔥 looking structure you’re building there. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Technically speaking your 45 bracing as long as you don't remove more that 25% of the beam, you're okay. The brace itself only needs to be 4". It is called a shear brace protect against the cross wind. If you had built the entire bent at once and stood them up the cross brace could have been applied while building the bent prior to lifting in place. But it all worked out. Good job.

What you call the perlings are called roofing lathes here in the uk. We also use 2x1s instead of 2x2. Perlings in the uk are used on the inside of the roof space half way down the rafters to add support for bowing rafters and adds strength typically we use a 9x3 perling either side of the roof

I enjoy your videos. Why not cut a wide/flat V-shape in the ends of your 45 bracing, rather than notching the main post? This way you accommodate the round shape of the post without tediously having to cut a notch

The Electric wood splitter looks like it has brushes. sitting as long as it has it probably just needs to be cleaned up, the armature and brushes smoothed out some lube applied to the bushings. I'm guessing the motor might run continuously and the lever changes the direction of travel. Hey it was free and when you have time just tear into it if you fix it your ahead if you don't at least you tried and might learn something. The shed is looking great!

Diego. Do you weld and do metal work? I was thinking that racks for all of that firewood on each side of the sheds interior would be nice. 2 inch square tubing racks would not require to much room and would hold alot. Then make a log cart with the leftovers to carry firewood to the house as needed. Nice job.

You held the tape measure wrong.
You’ve got to use your big toe on your left foot and then stretch it out by holding it between your chin and your neck. I can’t believe you’ve been doing it wrong on UA-cam.
Lucky you have all us experts down in the comments.
