Manchester Metrolink on Wednesday 24th July 2024 - 1CC closure and trams terminate at Oldham Mumps

On Wednesday 24th July 2024, we visited Manchester City Centre and Oldham.
Market Street and Shudehill in the City Centre were close for engineering works with most trams operating via Cross Street and Second City Crossing (2CC) as a result.
Trams on the Shaw and Crompton and Rochdale branch all had to turn at Oldham Mumps due to land slip between there and Shaw. Many "new" destinations were in evidence as a result, as well as new adverts that we had not previously filmed.
3047 has lost its KFC advert
3081 is now an advert for AutoTrader Live .
We filmed 3061 in its Rockstar Energy drink advert and 3116 in its Chester Zoo wrap.
Thanks to Mark Deam at Metrolink we have photos of 3095 in its Coronation Street Experience advert wrap as it had developed a fault and was not in service.
