I have a juicebox installed by an electrician been charging since June, not a single problem with it. All the info on every charge is in the app once completed charging. I have never charged my Mach-e with the one Ford gave with the car, still in my trunk. It's a great car enjoy.
I might have the terminology wrong with what I said. I had an electrician install the correct voltage out in my garage and it has made the charging experience so much better.
The electric company give you a cheaper rate use have to buy one of the smart charger on their site . You also get a rebate from the electric company on the installation. I not sure what state you are in. You may have to call or research online.
You shouldn't be using a power strip at all as that's a fire danger. 🔥 Plug directly into your wall outlet as it's designed to carry the load better. Most power strips extensions are made in china and not really reliable. I'm just saying that you are better off avoiding weak links when possible.
@Brent R let me know how you like your Mock-E. I've been thinking about ordering one but holding off as they are always on back order, and I see some service complaints. On my personal wish list for the Mock-E is that they switch to a heat pump for winter months as that's generally better for the batteries. Nice, you got 220v installed.
@Paul Voorhees I love the MME now that I have the 220v in my garage. I love the way the EV handles and the quickness from the start. The cold weather does drain the battery with the heat on. I turn it off and then on and off then on during my ride to get a better miles per kilowatt. During the winter I am averaging 2.6 to 2.5 miles a kilowatt. Tire pressure is usually around 40. I had a problem with Blue Cruise but now it's working just fine. I'm not sure what changed. The only other things are the tail gate does not go up with foot activation and self parking is not working correctly. I will be having the dealership look into that soon. Other than that, I love it! And the only other thing that is concerning is the incentives to buy from the government. I'm not sure if I am getting the state insensitive or the Fed. But the ride is amazing.
@BuellXB12SDucati1198 I see that I am late at responding to this. Sorry for that. I love my Mach-E. Spring, Summer, and Fall months are great with battery performance. Winter months and cold weather, the battery life is ok. I average about 2.7 in the winter months vs 3.8 in the warmer months.
I recently found out that they do not have the foot activation for the 2023 model, well at least mine, and there is no self parking mode on mine either. The button is still there but I believe Ford pulled the plug and didn't let anyone know about that. I also had a problem with my Blue Cruise but I made a call and it was fixed shorty.

I am thinking about getting the juicebox or the charge point one.
I gave up on 32 amp charging. And cut 25% off charging time by getting a 40 amp charging cord if I hard wire it it goes up to 48 amps .
Great information! I am pretty happy with mine since I have the correct charging in my garage now.
Thank you!! Very informative!
Your welcome. I can say that I went over to a Juicebox EV wall charger and I love that one alot.
When you say 240, that the same as a 220 service like for a stove for example?

@@evandtechlife think that’s what my electrician said too. Think I got all terms mixed up.

I just had 220 ran out to the garage today and am now charging at around 22 miles an hour vs 3 miles. So glad to have that done now!

Thank you so much for the info. I now have correct wiring out to the garage and I am plugged in directly to a 210v.
