T Gibson It’s almost surreal to see Maxine Andrews and Phyllis McGuire on stage together and coupled with the great Helen O’Conell just icing on the cake
Judging by Sally's end of show comments, this was also the last episode to be taped in Connecticut, the last episode with this version of Sally's set, last episode with the 1988-89 theme song heard here. Not long after this, the move to New York along with the 1989-93 Dan Radlauer theme song and the 1989-93 set would commence.
Liane Layman I’ve seen commentary from people who knew Helen, that she wasn’t easy to get along with. From her look I think Phyllis’s comment that she would know about men set her off. Her dalliances were well known and not a subject she liked to revisit.
This is such a TREAT!💕
Wow I’ve never seen an Andrew sister meet a McGuire sister before. Great video!
I was literally brought to tears when Maxene opened up about LaVerne!
Yes, it was very emotional. They had such a strong love for each other. ❤
for real!!
This is legendary
I agree! Such amazing, talented women on that stage.

@@mefirstplease3676 I completely agree! Props to whoever arranged them being together on this show, because it is fabulous.
This is exactly how Santa Barbara & John Davidson's Hollywood Squares ended.
And also other shows like NBC news overnight and search for tomorrow.

You are absolutely correct!
This is when the show was classy. The move to NYC made the show trashy, especially later on.
I never herd of Sylvia Syms. Helen doesn't clap or anything, she just sits there.
