Test riding a new demo DTX 360 Sat 6th Aug 2022 after viewing this video. A lot of guys my age and older are making the switch to scooters and absolutely loving them.
The speedometer flashing on and off looks very annoying." You're not really supposed to ride them fast down twisty mountains roads in the wet " What ? !! Kymco is a Taiwanese brand. It's the biggest selling scooter/motorcycle brand here in Taiwan.( SYM is second ) Taiwan is extremely mountainous and very, very wet. Taiwan has more high mountain peaks than any island in the world and we have very high rainfall every year ! So yes , most of us do ride fast down wet, twisty mountain roads ! I know I do. I've been riding Kymco 125s 365 days a year for the last 20 years ! I'm thinking of upgrading to something a bit bigger. I like the look of the Honda ADV 350 more than this particular Kymco. Thanks for the video ! Looks like you had fun making it ! Hope your mate recovers from his prang quickly !
I've got an Nmax155 that my girlfriend convinced me to buy. Turns out I love the thing. I have been looking to upgrade to a 300 sized scooter and do a tour. They're just so easy to ride. This one for some reason spikes my interest, there something about sliding a scooter around on some dirt roads that screams low stress off-road fun to me. Great video, really enjoy the editing and commentary.
I cant wait for my local Kymco dealer here in the Philippines to get some DTX360 stocks. It was officially released here a couple of days ago. Cant wait to have this
Love my Kymco Agility 300. Like the DTX360 it does 110 freeway speeds and accelerates well around town. Big 16 inch from wheel is better than X360 setup . Plus the front standard screen is larger and the scooter lighter. Did look at DTX360 and wisely chose the Agility 300. Besides in ACT, motorcycles under 300cc get way cheaper rego! Your 360 will cost same as a 750cc sports bike to register in the ACT.
@@podunkman2709 Kymco is NUMBER ONE in Europe! They make motors for BMW scooters! They started out as 50% partner with Honda when Honda first started! Ive ridden ALL the maxiscooters and believe me as far as quality goes and value for money you WONT beat Kymco
Parts Are Very Durable since its a fusion of European and Asian Tech. Yamaha and Honda right now are mostly manufactured in China. They have parts issues breakdown more often.
I’m thinking of buying one maybe a Honda forza 350. I would like to get the forza 750 with dct transmission but they don’t sell them yet in Australia. I ride a bike at the moment but the maxi scooters just seem so practical and comfortable to ride. My mate has a kymco 550 and it goes like a rocket and looks awesome it’s a twin cylinder.
Looks like a lot of fun! But why call it a 360 when it has only 320cc? Would considder if it came out based on the xciting s400i. I would think that 320cc is just not enough for a daily commuter doing mostly highway. Or do you think I'm wrong? Advise please!
you are definately wrong .............. I owned a Kymco x-town 300i which had a 276 cc motor on a very heavy scooter..... and that thing flew! ............ it will eat up an Xmax yamaha for pick up and speed!
I considered both. Finally opted for the Honda due to their reputation for reliability. Took it on a France/Spain tour from England in October 2014. Great bike. However, I prefer the looks of this Kymco !!
My Xmax has been faster, comfortable, carrying a lot of luggage, bit of off roading with road tyres😂, more fuel range. I am more confident when leaning, braking more foot positioning. It’s wining over my Bolt. Maxi scooters are really fun. Practical bikes.
I've owned Both xmax and this bike and I can promise anyone that this kymco is TWICE the bike that the xmax is! And that's riding in the world's worse conditions..... Philippines.
How would you compare DTX 125 vs Forza 125 on unpaved roads? Forza is just so much better for little more but I need commuter with 80/20 being roads/gravel and unpaved roads and im completely obliterated by the choice to make...

Flashing speedo is just the refresh rate of the screen interacting with the FPS of the camera.
@@BobsNewHobby ....Yeah, the two things are not in sync with each other, usually fixed in more professional videos by experienced camera staff.
number one in Europe now!

Yep. There's a degree of off-road ability here that makes this one stand out from the crowd.

Hopefully coming to the USA for '23 !
your production is getting really good!

Kudos, great video. Having fun on not-your-bike!
PS I hope the injured rider is doing OK.
How I wish our expressway here in my country makes it to 300cc rather than 400cc
I guess this is a competitor to the Honda ADV-350. Would love your thoughts on how it compares if you’ve had a chance to ride that!
You'r serious? "Competitor to Honda" 😄 That's a good one 🤣
@@podunkman2709 yawn. Brand snob

@@jimw7916 Still, honda is the best.
@@jaspereggs2749 it certainly used to be, but they have gone slack now
They need to make an adventure AK550!
hello, what is the deal with the flushing panel board? is this feature? or a problem? becauss it's not good
Hey mate. That's just what the camera picks up it doesn't actually flash in real life
Why does the scooter speedometer keep flashing that's a major headache
yes,i thought that to, flashing all time do my head in, ha
It doesn’t it’s the camera……….
Also thinking about the new Zontes 350 scooter
not sure about the flashing lcd dash,? hasnt got the sleek look of the kawasaki j300 tho,
I’ve got one, it doesn’t flash. Something to do with the camera?
How would you rate kymco to yamaha and honda for 300ish scooters please.

How about the oil consumption? Thanks!
i saw video couple years ago when they came out. Confused when everyone talking about adv 350 being first. no it wasn't. still need to come to usa

Refering to Kimco infos 360 is for 360° ... the idea is "Go everywhere ... at 360°" .... I'll have mine on friday !!!

i thought it had an integrated phone ball mount on mirror too
Great video.
Thank you mate!
I would like to see side by side with the Honda ADV 350.
No common points. Honda is on another level.

Why it's heavier than the downtown 350i ?!?! (195kg for the DTX vs 189 kg for the downtown)
wider handle bars hahahahaha and a few more members on frame for added strength
What happen to its panel?
It's just the refresh rate of the panel's screen vs the frame rate of the camera giving that effect. Your eyes won't see it that way in real life.
Does it have traction control
Yep!
The lack of adjustable suspension is a bit off putting.

Solid toh sağlam dtx

Haha it designed to adventure that's why its a Crossover Maxi
"Wind protection is very good" are you serious? Maybe if you are a dwarf!!! Come on now, really????
its a scooter ...........the ENTIRE fairing keeps the wind and rain off you! even your legs.
screen looks a bit ugly, not sporty,
i rather get the adv 350 than thia ugly skuts without spare parts in my country 🤣🤣🤣
