- Today is a tragic day as James Earl Jones, the voice of Darth Vader in Star Wars and Mufasa in The Lion King passed away today at age 93. Even though, I knew he was gonna leave this world any day now, I wasn’t expecting it to be today, let alone this year. But hey, he lived a great life and played one of the most iconic villains in history.
