@TGS I SERIOUSLY MISS the original work bench......... I hope you brought it with you or go back and get it. As far as the glue for pickups letting go try JB WELD to fix it.
Imagine driving around this area and just seeing Trogdog opening boxes in his front yard, it'd be hard not to stop and watch. Feels the same as it always has too, just a nicer background, looking forward to the rest!
You beat me to it.. I was just thinking oh my his new neighbors think that they have a mental patient standing there on his porch with a GoPro strapped to his head talking to a guitar... 😂
Bob Dylan brought folk music to the masses in the early 60s and started the "protest song" movement. Such a great lyricist and song writer that they gave him a Nobel Prize a few years ago.
Well, close. The Weavers, Peter Paul and Mary, Joan Baez and various others actually were before Bob and were much more popular among the masses, But yeah, you could say he popularized protest music
Well, it's a beautiful guitar. I feel like a Sir visiting a fellow noble in his mansion and talking about guitars while we have caviar, champagne and Cuban cigars.
uh. I've seen him like 5 times. Some of his most famous songs are. :Rainy day woman, all along the watchtower, Tangled up in blue, Memphis blues, desolation row, times are a changin', i shall be released, Visions of Johanna.... If you are a grateful dead fan you can tell I am also probably from my song selection.
Congratulation on the new crib!! I know it's just a temporary think of showing the guitar on your porch/outdoors, I hope you continue doing this when you get settled in in the basement/gym space. It adds another level of documentation of the guitar seeing it in natural light/sunlight. I hope you incorporate the outdoor light into your new concept of guitar reviews/info show. Great work!! 🤘🤘🤘
Bought an Epi SJ200BE a few years back. Wasn't to pricey compared to the gibson of the same base model. Has the usual bridge pickup and one on the bracing near the sound hole. Can be used together or separately. The guitar has two output Jack's and can be used monochrome or stereo. Plays as great as it looks which is quite impressive. I dont regret buying it whatsoever.
Bravo. Congrats on the new space! Definitely adds production value to your work. Outside unboxings in natural light are FANTASTIC! We’ll all certainly appreciate it moving forward!
I tried one of these at gc a couple years ago.beautiful guitar with a big sound.great choice for a reveiw. It's time for my blue heals to be wondering.
I read somewhere recently that the somewhat less ornate SJ-200 on the cover of Nashville Skyline was given to Bob Dylan by George Harrison. I’ve always loved that album. Worth a listen for all the great Nashville players doing what they do best.
Hey you know I'm severely blind and even with my screen on my phone at 95 100% brightness most videos I still can't make anything out but this video was lit so well at least for me that I was able to make out parts of the guitar and I can see The binding but I couldn't see how many flies it is detail is not there I was able to make out some of the inlays and the shape of the guitar and you know the neck when you went through it so that for me it was a thrilling video cuz they actually able to watch it and see something again you know what I see is you know if you woke up in the morning and saw through my eyes it probably jump out of window it's pretty bad except for me to make out anything is really exciting so I hope your other videos I'll look like this and I'd be able to see them you know as well as I can but it's still something so thank you so much Charlie this is my best video in a long time to watch cuz I actually watched it not just listen to it thanks again for always stay safe and good luck with your new home mazel tov
The neighbours probably think they have a hippy moved in next door ......."Looks like we got us a god damned hippie next door Ma'" 'What's that Pa I can't find my hearing aid" .
Love the new digs! Hopefully you didn't move too far away from your former location. Us Ohio guys gotta stick together 😁 Love the Dylan guitar. Very nice. God bless and rock on 😎🎸👍
Loved the review. Just a small point but can you remember to comment on the action straight out the case. Whether cheap or expensive, the action is what interests most of us. So many reviewers fail to mention this and when questioned respond that it’s a personal thing. But whether high or low it really is so important to know. Many thanks🙋♂️🇬🇧
Honestly if anyone who is a music enthusiast at least hasn't heard of Bob Dylan they've been living with their head on the sand or under a rock. I know his music has gone into several genres and even in some religious avenues. The sunlight catches the figuring pretty good but just momentarily then washes out.
The clip that holds the pickup cables onto the upper side has fallen off or been misplaced. You are not supposed to see the cables through the soundhole. Beautiful, mighty-sounding guitar. You should do more Gibson acoustics; it'll do you good.
Loved the new video, and the house looks awesome from what you showed us. Lovely guitar, but I'd say if I had almost $7,000 to spend on a guitar I'd buy a Martin D-45 ... I like the Gibson, but the Martin is King IHMO ...
The lacquer sinking happens when the coats are level sanded pretty soon after they've been layed That happens because the different pieces of wood absorb water in different ways and as a result they swell differently
Thank you for the review. For acoustic demos can you record with microphone? This guitar sounds great through the pickup but it's not what the guitar sounds like. Thank you!
Made in Nashville or Montana? I like the outside setting with the sunlight highlighting the finish, I hope you can find a way to keep that element in your unboxing and review segments.
Downside of doing it outside, depending on where it came from you have humidity changes. And on acoustics maybe that’s not the best? But appreciate you doing the review outside. Definitely different! 😎
People complain about the price of Gibsons but they hold their value. Once you get to the price of admission you can then flip them off without losing much if anything. And on limited edition guitars you can often make a return on your investment.
Decent piezo sound. Would be nice to hear something like that mic'd up properly. And I wonder if all that plastic glued to the nice moving top kills the tone?
I think the birds are bidding on the guitar, and they're way off. It's a signature, birdies, come on. Anyway, nice guit. nice vid., nice Trog., nice digs- i'm an orphan, where do I apply to get adopted?!! Nice sound, the whisper over worked. Can't wait for soundproofed so you can let it rip. Ü♫

There is one that is the autograph edition and he hand signed like 300 of the labels
@TGS I SERIOUSLY MISS the original work bench......... I hope you brought it with you or go back and get it. As far as the glue for pickups letting go try JB WELD to fix it.
My sweet Kimbo loves that table! Did it come with the hut?
Trogly really said "sorry I moved, so I might miss some uploads for a bit" and then immediately hit us with this...
Trogly is too good to us 😢
I concur
It's amusing hearing Trogly trying not to talk too loudly in his new place ... 😂
It's a weird time in history when you have to explain who Bob Dylan is. "If you've never heard of Bach, he was a music guy."
😂😂😂 This killed me.... Mostly on the inside.
Exactly!
And Shakespeare was a theater dude.
You have learned much, Padawan Trogly. The comment about the inlays also being used on Gibson banjos, says you will soon be ready..........
Yowza, that really undersold Bobby - many Grammys, the last few in his seventies. AND a Nobel prize!
I like the bird! Gives a good atmosthear, i wouldn't mind some more unboxings outside even after your studio is finished.
Imagine driving around this area and just seeing Trogdog opening boxes in his front yard, it'd be hard not to stop and watch. Feels the same as it always has too, just a nicer background, looking forward to the rest!

That looks like a back yard.

The protest music stuff is like 1% of his catalog.
That guitar is insane. I love the head stock.
"why is our new neighbor talking to himself on his porch? And what's with that weird camera hat?"
- your neighbors, probably
na ! everybody knows Trogly!
Looking at how big his house is I wouldn't be surprised if he bought the entire neighborhood!
That is the coolest acoustic I’ve seen. I love the double floral pick guards
It's quite a piece of work eh?
Funny how you introduce Dylan to your audience. I watched a science video the other day, about some guy called Einstein - apparently knew his onions.
Well, it's a beautiful guitar. I feel like a Sir visiting a fellow noble in his mansion and talking about guitars while we have caviar, champagne and Cuban cigars.
Wow, I really like that view outside, especially with the birds chirping outside! Can’t wait for more from the new location!
Seeing Trogly's phone on the edge of that little table spiked my anxiety through the roof.
Dammit if you only had the heath ledgers joker face, i coulda used "why so serious?"😂
Not so serious. Just anxious as all hell. XD
"You might not have necessarily heard his name..."
Part of me just doesn't want to believe this of anyone!
I like the outside setting. Very summer time.
uh. I've seen him like 5 times. Some of his most famous songs are. :Rainy day woman, all along the watchtower, Tangled up in blue, Memphis blues, desolation row, times are a changin', i shall be released, Visions of Johanna.... ' One More Saturday Night'
"It ain't me, babe"
I was sweating watching you turn that guitar over concrete 🥵
That's a lovely sounding acoustic. I've owned a J-200 for years now & they have that great, deep tone I like in an acoustic.
I really enjoy seeing the guitar out in the sun, it is the best light to look at a guitar.
I may be in the minority but I dig the dual pick guards!! What a great looking guitar
Cool.... reminds me of the Everly Brothers Gibson..( double Pickguard)... congrats on the new place.. well deserved.
Love the natural light. Can definitely see the guitars better than inside lighting
Alright, the new place! The decor on that guitar is definitely gaudy, but it sure sounds good.
Congratulation on the new crib!!

Great work!! 🤘🤘🤘
There is a point that too much is too much……..And I’m an ex-Gibson Montana employee who LOVES Gibson Guitars.
Bought an Epi SJ200BE a few years back. Wasn't to pricey compared to the gibson of the same base model. Has the usual bridge pickup and one on the bracing near the sound hole. So much for top vibration!
As a Brit, I’m saddened that you have to explain who Bob Dylan is. Great video as always though.
So true eh. Especially to Americans
The deal is he didn't know until he looked him up.
I tried one of these at gc a couple years ago.beautiful guitar with a big sound.great choice for a reveiw. It's time for my blue heals to be wondering.

If I remember right I believe there was a signed edition also when these came out. Beautiful guitar.
Right you are, a signed & numbered edition of 175. Funny Trogly didn't mention that. I think it sold for twice as much as this one.
1:27 you can really see the Norman’s rare guitars influence 😏
Hey you know I'm severely blind and even with my screen on my phone at 95 100% brightness most videos I still can't make anything out but this video was lit so well at least for me that I was able to make out parts of the guitar and I can see The binding but I couldn't see how many flies it is detail is not there I was able to make out some of the inlays and the shape of the guitar and you know the neck when you went through it so that for me it was a thrilling video cuz they actually able to watch it and see something again you know what I see is you know if you woke up in the morning and saw through my eyes it probably jump out of window it's pretty bad except for me to make out anything is really exciting so I hope your other videos I'll look like this and I'd be able to see them you know as well as I can but it's still something so thank you so much Charlie this is my best video in a long time to watch cuz I actually watched it not just listen to it thanks again for always stay safe and good luck with your new home mazel tov
that finish with the red spruce is killer
The neighbours probably think they have a hippy moved in next door ......."Looks like we got us a god damned hippie next door Ma'" 'What's that Pa I can't find my hearing aid" .
Proud owner of this guitar, only I had mine fully converted to lefty by a couple techs and a luthier. It plays and sounds like a dream.
Love the new digs! Hopefully you didn't move too far away from your former location. Us Ohio guys gotta stick together 😁 Love the Dylan guitar. Very nice. God bless and rock on 😎🎸👍
Wow, that would be such a beautiful gift for a guitar player, imagine opening the case and finding that inside, just gorgeous

Stunning guitar. Great first vid from the new home. Thanks Trogly!

I know his music has gone into several genres and even in some religious avenues. The sunlight catches the figuring pretty good but just momentarily then washes out.
Nice digs!! Wild that it sounds better unplugged. I associate these more with the Everly Brothers than Bob Dylan.
Trogly's in the HOUSE!!!
Congratulations on the new place! Great show tonight. You should do more Acoustic Guitars. Maybe an acoustic WYRON ??
Loved the outdoor unboxing! Nice change of scenery.
The clip that holds the pickup cables onto the upper side has fallen off or been misplaced. You are not supposed to see the cables through the soundhole. Beautiful, mighty-sounding guitar. You should do more Gibson acoustics; it'll do you good.
First review at the Trogly Mansion 🤘🏻
Badass crib Trogoly. Nice landscape too.
Opens the case...
*bird poops on it
Loved the new video, and the house looks awesome from what you showed us. Lovely guitar, but I'd say if I had almost $7,000 to spend on a guitar I'd buy a Martin D-45 ... I like the Gibson, but the Martin is King IHMO ...
Trogly is crushing it. Nice place man. Happy to see this channels success.
Shez a beautiful guitar!
The pearl inlays on the fretboard is a progression of a blooming flower
J200s are my favorite acoustic, this one looks and sounds amazing!
HBD BOB you have awesome taste in sj 200's!
The lacquer sinking happens when the coats are level sanded pretty soon after they've been layed
That happens because the different pieces of wood absorb water in different ways and as a result they swell differently
Trogly in his new digs! Oh, the times they are a changin'.
Congratulations on the new Trogly estate. 👍
That eye is the eye of Horus....
Love the new place .. congrats troglys keep doing what you doing
When it comes to double pick guards nothing beats Barry Gibb’s double pickguard Les Paul Deluxe.
That phone vicariously hanging off the corner of the table was seriously triggering my ocd.
You need fill lights on the patio, you need to make it as bright or brighter than the background,.
Something satisfying about this classic style guitar even though the times they are a changing.
Thank you for the review. For acoustic demos can you record with microphone? This guitar sounds great through the pickup but it's not what the guitar sounds like. Thank you!
Great video. Thanks for doing another acoustic! Maybe next acoustic could be a Martin 000-28ec? Also love the new digs!
You know what. I think this is the better location for your reviews so chill I had a little nap so now I’m watching it again 😂
Love the video, and the location!
Do you have to take the strings off to change the pickup battery?
congrats on the new house.
People complain about the price of Gibsons but they hold their value. Once you get to the price of admission you can then flip them off without losing much if anything. And on limited edition guitars you can often make a return on your investment.
Im a hardcore Martin Dreadnought guy. However, the SJ-200 is one Ive always wanted.
Congrats on the new pad! Thanks Trogly!
That Dylan SJ-200 is a Beauty!
Trogly, the new sound are just like ASMR videos. Please return the old Trogly's voice
I’ve been going through an acoustic phase lately so this perfect.
That guitar might just be my holy grail acoustic guitar.
Now that's nice. Love Gibson jumbos.
Outside footage is the best. Do that whenever you can.
Decent piezo sound. Would be nice to hear something like that mic'd up properly. And I wonder if all that plastic glued to the nice moving top kills the tone?
No piezo in this guitar
@@benallmark9671 okay but not a great sound from that pickup. My point is you really need to demo and acoustic guitar by miking it.
Very nice guitar. Thanks Trogly - I hadn’t heard of these.
The new place looks amazing Trog congrats 🤘🏻
Nice new place dude
Nice lawn! 🍺
How does it measure up against the version by Epiphone?
I think the birds are bidding on the guitar, and they're way off. It's a signature, birdies, come on. Anyway, nice guit. nice vid., nice Trog., nice digs- i'm an orphan, where do I apply to get adopted?!! Nice sound, the whisper over worked. Can't wait for soundproofed so you can let it rip. Ü♫
can you explain the gauge sstrings yo use
Nice guitar great playing trogley
There was a Signature collectors edition. More fancy. Had the eye logo in pearl, abalone on the pickguard, signed by Bob.
was wondering when you'd cover that. Bob dylan rocks he's my favorite. one day i will on this guitar
Cool guitar, and nice new place, congrats!😎
For me the double pick guard is the sign of a guitar used for folk and country music.
Gibson Everly Brothers model had the double pick guard as well.
There’s no way that the pickguards are hand-painted!
