- In this video drum lesson, we teach you how to play Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train" on your drum set by breaking it down so it is easy to understand.

"Crazy Train" Drum Lesson Breakdown - Time Stamps Included
1:05 - We start out by listening to the song and playing the drums along
1:35 - We begin to break down the songs drum beat by starting with the cymbal intro crash followed by breaking down the tom drum section
4:15 - Next, we break down the drum fill that follows
4:52 - We need some more time to properly break down this drum fill and so we cover how to count the fill, using the proper sticking so that you learn how to play this type of beat correctly the 1st time around
7:51 - If you want to make it a bit more challenging, you can try this
8:42 - Now we go over how and when to add the bass drum beats during this section
10:58 - Now we get to the good part. The MAIN BEAT BREAKDOWN
13:32 - Followed by an even better part, another drum fill to breakdown
15:41 - We end this lesson by putting it all together!

I almost went to another post when I saw the toms set up like that but it was a solid lesson. How do you not gouge your heads? Or do you have change heads often? That seems like it would put weird stress on your wrists

I was going to say right now I really love love this song but there is no way I can play it at the skill that I'm at
You can do anything you put your mind to bud! however, it does help to do easier songs and work your way up to challenging ones like this one.
That is really good advice I have to admit but you see I think that easier sounds are kind of boring but harder songs are much more fun to play except they're hard is there any way for when we schedule my first lesson with you that you can show me some really good techniques to help me get better and by the way PS I'm really excited for our first lesson as soon as my mom scheduled it already see you then we shall be talking over the UA-cam, LOL

I did ask but my mom said she's schedule it when she gets there but right now she's kind of busy she just got married she needs to get like a lot of money back so yeah probably one of the reasons I'm not really good at these songs I can barely hear the music I don't have good enough headphones I best I have these little headphones that don't even have like stuff around it oh and it suggested maybe for one of the videos you can do a whole song cuz that would be nice cuz I've always wanted you to do that is there a reason you don't do that
