Hello everyone! Yes, I know it's been sometime since this first episode but I had a lot of stuff going on that made it impossible to put anytime at all to my channel. So, I'm sorry that I have kept you waiting and I wanted you to know that I'm working on the second part which is gonna be ready in a few days hopefully. Thanks for all your comments and your support and I'll see you soon!
If you're pockets are Deep are enough Reverlry Cycles do a ported & polish head & oversized valves giving the base 865 kit a extra 5rwhp for low end to mid power good for everyday use & a 10hp version good for top end power & track duties. Hitchcocks S&S bottom end kit 65hp & 77Nm with Reverlry Cycles Head that comes ported polished & throttle bodies bored out makes 70hp & 83Nm or race version with top end power 75hp 81Nm.There heads are better than the S&S heads by alot & come with bored throttle bodies. If you're going to add a S&S head at a later date I would recommend getting Reverlry Cycles Head instead Watch all their videos. Reverlry Cycles in Sydney Australia. His wife races Royal Enfield drag bike & husband has just built a 960cc drag bike from a 650 Interceptor as a base.Nice sets of headers too that are shaped to down tubes of bike like original 1960's Interceptor.Well worth a look especially if you thinking about a top end kit at a later date.Well done with bottom end kit from Hitchcocks.👍
@@ruahinesrider all that suff are very sweet and tempting! I'm aware of the Revelry Cycles, looks like they're doing a great job! For now I'm gonna stick with the current set up and we'll see in the future. One big problem is that the customs charges from Australia to Greece are huge and it's really not worth it because of that in my opinion, even if I was considering to go that way.
@@ksmotoshed7961 Even the basic kit you have & s&s cam is a huge improvement.65rwhp is nothing to sneeze at.Stock 42rwhp compared to 65rwhp is a huge difference & Along with 45mm headers you'll have a very impressive bike indeed.I also would leave the 650 badges on.
So, for all the bits you list, that would be around £3,500 plus fitting (unless you can do it all yourself). If you add that to the price of the bike (£6,000 unless you buy a second-hand bike) you are looking at something in the region of £10,000. I think there are an awful lot of better bikes out there for that sort of cash...
Here in the US, S&S won’t sell the 865 kit to an end-user; you have to buy it from an installer, who will naturally want to install it. (Though you can buy the high compression pistons kit-not sure of the logic behind that.). At any rate, looking forward the project and seeing the performance improvements.
Thanks for your comment, I didn't know that, strange. I've been very busy with the 865 mod lately and also with other stuff, but I'm preparing episode 2 where I will be describing the whole process.
When is your next video coming? Please make a detailed video how you fitted the 865big bore kit and how much power it is generating now ? All the best man 👍
Hi, I know it's been some time but I was super busy with work and other stuff. I'm working on ep.2 right now and I hope to finish it soon.I can tell you though, that it's done, it runs fine and it's a beast! Cheers!
