Sadly, she's probably not in one piece. For the family and people who loved her, that would just help with closure. Shoot, at this point, we all need closure. • @greenman6141
      @greenman6141 9 місяців тому +23

@@FCUK- It is mute because he has stated he wants to take his 5th amendment rights. He had NOT been mirandized before these officers spoke to him, so the prosecutors do not have the legal right to play for the jurors anything that he said.
Nevertheless, I am really glad they showed this for the jury.
I wrote above about this as well, but I"ll repeat myself.
The jury hasn't seen much of him. They've heard he was an opiate addict.
PEople often think of opiate addicts as thin, frail people. Wasted away, with stick like wrists, concave chests, narrow wispy things.
Montgomery is a brute. And has been all along.
And this video captures some of this.
He gets out of the car in a short sleeve t shirt, and he is made to stand with his hands on his head, while they search him.
IN those moments, the officer's body camera captures very clearly, if only briefly, just how broad and muscled his back and shoulders are. Then he turns sideways on to talk to a different officer, and, again, the jury gets a good view at just how very large his biceps are, and his forearms, wrists, and hands.
He is a large man. All of that power, pounding a little child's skull over and over and over.
It is just unbearable to think about.
But the prosecution HAS to find a way to get that picture into the jurists' minds.
Body cameras have really been game changers. The police departments that refuse to use them....that makes them very suspect. Just look how important they were in the Alex Murdaugh trial for example - capturing exactly what Murdaugh was saying and how he was behaving.

Though I agree its annoying, the mics are for the media which is a bonus. The only people who need to hear the trial are seated in the room. The Judge ensures that the jury is hearing everything. So I do find it personally annoying, but it's not my trial and I know the people tasked in deciding Adam's faith can hear just fine. They are dealing with mounds of evidentiary materials, laws, rules, departments, expert witness testimony etc. Some case go on for months, and a lot is very boring. At trial, testimony was elicited how Mr. Montgomery then negotiated the sale of the guns, one of which was later recovered. I am very glad the jury got to see this bit of video. They've not been able to get an idea of what his build is like.
They may not have been able to hear what he was saying, but this lets them see just how large he is. So they can see, at 13:58, how big he is through the chest, and the size of his arms at 14:07.
He's not the image that people usually have of an opiate addict. They're so often wasted away little creatures. Shuffling, with a concave chest, and little pencil wrists that look liked they snap if they hit anyone.
This is a brute. Someone like this, repeatedly using his fist to punch a child's skull - I'm hoping he didn't punch her right in her face, but I'm probably foolish to have any such hope. If he didn't, it would just have been because he figured punching her in places her hair covered, the bruising wouldn't be so easy to spot.
The jury needs to be able to form the picture of his size, and Harmony's and what someone of his burly build would do to a frail child. The pain, the damage.

I think that if you are the legal guardian of a minor child and you fail to report serious injury or death to the authorities or emergency room you should be automatically charged with that child’s abuse and or death. Kayla got off way too lightly because the prosecutor needed her eye witness testimony since actual evidence and harmony’s remains were long gone. An innocent parent would never do what he did. I appreciate that the jury found him guilty but she should have a lot longer behind bars because she had plenty of opportunity to turn him in. Every day they went separately to get their methadone so somebody would be with their boys. If it were me, I would’ve done that asap. Not only does that precious little girl need justice but he could also do the same thing to Seamus or Declan. What made her think that her kids were exempt from his abuse?

Are you born again? Unless you repent of your sin and turn away from it and put your trust in LORD JESUS alone.. you will not enter GOD's kingdom.. HOLY SPIRIT is the guarantee GOD gives us those who are born again - born of The SPIRIT
