I’m surprised you didn’t connect “drowning his crew” with giving them devil fruits all while potentially not knowing what the drowning side effects! This could potentially infer that Laugh Tale had devil fruits as part of the treasure. Specific ones in fact! But idk that’s just a theory
That is true! honestly i was trying to lean towards vanderdecken was not evil LOL but went mad. that is true tho how else would you forcibly drown someone. give them devil fruits and toss them out hahaha
“Drowning his crew” could just be him messing up his journey to fishman island, and accidentally killing his own crew. Game of telephone through the ages, and it becomes “he drowned them”, “he went mad”. He also could possibly just have been talking “crazy” to the eyes of others-talking about void century, ancient weapons, secret languages and codes… it all sounds crazy, if you’re the first to find out about it. By the time of Roger, all these ideas were already codified as popular myths and legends, so it sounds a lot less crazy.
@@AllegroRubato Or could this be that people didnt know you'd be unable to swim at that time and he fed them all fruits as gifts and they accidentally drowned and thats why he cursed the gods and named the fruits ''of the devil''. 🤔
Love how you draw attention to the more minor details in story, like the legend of Vander Decken and Captain John’s treasure. I think it’s so easy for One Piece fans to miss the forest for the trees.
Wouldn't it be missing the trees for the forest in this case though? Parvision sees the finer details, the individual trees, not just a general observation of the forest.
So he may have been a Kozuki, a Shandian, a Celestial Dragon, mushroom person that crossbread with a fishman, who had the voice of all things and probably was at Laughtale long before Roger? 🥰
LOL well i eliminated the kozuki one easily. the others are options given the vagueness of what was given. but the mushroom part is 100% LOL mushroom person that read the shandoran poneglyph is confirmed as weird as that sounds. unless there is another 4 legged race and anywhere else they could learn about poseidon. and the voice of all things is the easiest way to make it make sense that he could read the stone hahaha the laughtale part also a stretch, a bunch of people came up with pretty cool alternatives to the madness part, but still the base of it holds true :D
I often wonder how many little potential plotlines like these that Oda loves to incorporate in his story will actually lead anywhere in the end. At any rate I would love to have a peek at the massive library of notes Oda must have to keep track of all these possibilities in his own story.
the fact that gaimon and sarfunkel which is such a irrelevant side plot was completed after 600 chapters, jsut tells me oda has SO MUCH in his bag its just up to him whether he wants to pull it out. Aslo the road to laughtale drop with Vira?? 100% things like this are important esp cuz Vira was introduced to us with Noland! and THAT is the part 2 coming out, let me just tell you it gets CRAZIER
i was running through my head looking for what mushroom could possibly refer to and oh my god i didn’t expect that, i find this really interesting at the very least. when thinking about vast treasures, i think it’s odd that no one has looked into captain john’s treasure (the one buggy’s been looking for since the beginning), maybe it’s more important than we realized, and it might be worth digging clues for?
yeah esp cuz captain john's treasure seems to be like actually wealth. whats also weird is that presumeably buggy/captain john would know about shandora. the city of gold. surprised they havent attempted to go back. Buggy especialyl since roger literally told him to do that.
Van Der Decken , like Caribou, has always felt like a looser with potential. While Caribou's potential will likely be shown in the future, would make sense for Decken's to come from the past!

Lol I was just watching your chopper video and this popped up. But, I was thinking about something. What if Buggy’s fruit was the fruit that was used by oars, being he is the continent puller. What if buggy’s awakening can affect the world around him. And oars being so big, he can move islands. Which may be how wano came together. It looks as if wano was pieced together, as opposed to being whole from the jump. Just a thought.
i really like this theory, especially since hajrudin made such a big point of wanting to be the first giant with a devil fruit. it could be oars was the first during the void century
5:53 You forgot the other way he could have learned to read the ponegliffs, which is that he simply came from Shandora. The place where the ancient language originated, which we know because it was the everyday language used by the people, and was around since year 400~, 400 years before the Void Century which is when the Kozukis assumedly learned it. This makes sense as the ponegliff that talked about Poseidon was in Shandora, giving him a reason to have seen that particular ponegliff and for it to have captured his heart, as he lived there. The voice of all things can't be used to read gliffs, that's why Roger needed Oden, and this is explained in the panel of Rayleigh you put up lol. Great video though, I think you got everything else spot on and it's always good to look into smaller details like this as they're the things that end up becoming important.
Yeah I implied that with roger with the part where oden could hear the glyphs but without oden he would have had incomplete information just like I'm theorizing vanderdecken is here. So without oden roger might have been in a similar ship as vanderdecken. But also I want to ask you Cuz with the shandora thing I did briefly say vanderdecken might have been from there because of the god stuff,BUT I dont think the ancient language originated there? The glyph language wasnt mentioned to be an everyday language they used on shandora. But also even ancient shandora seemed to be separated from their true history. As they had 400 year gap
Brook knowing of possibly the first vanderdeckan makes me think he may have been I've far longer than we are led to believe. Maybe even 900 Years old lol
For Roger, he arrived and saw he was 20 or so years early. he knew his will would live on to the next generation and that people he knew and cared about would see the better world. Vander Decken lived hundreds of years ago and saw that it was inevitable that he'd have to wait until Poseidon arrived in the current era. He could only curse the gods and fight them until he realized why he needed the ancient weapons and just bitterly went to fishman island and died passing on the knowledge of why he is waiting.
when Luffy arrives, he'll realize this was predicted. he'll have to ponder if he isn't free. and he'll realize that he is in the end unless he realizes immediately. but they symbolism will be great. think about this in context of the attack gomu gomu no baka, and what he end up doing instead of turning off his brain and doing nothing to counter being predicted. he just rings the bell and fullfills the promise that he decided to do unrelated to whatever god said. and then, through luffys free will to tell cricket where eldorado was, he as collateral defeated god. just like he'll one day save the world because of something personal, like he declared war on the world for robin, and saved the east blue for nami. like rama declared war on evil and defeated the demon king for kidnapping his wife. while his father failed in saving the world because he wasnt dharma incarnated like rama. he built an army to make a plan to save the world, like dragon. rama just lived his life and saved the world by living his dharma like luffy. all of the strawhats declare their dharma when they enter the grandline. they dont say what they want to become, but what they will become. because this is who they are, their true self, their dharma. which is why they like rama will save the world. little hinduism paralel!
Damn you pull such crazy stuff out of this amazing story and it always ends up making sense and its always pretty hype xD If its true that he was a 4-legged mushroom person, then I think we can rule out him being a Celestial Dragon, since they'd never have allowed anything other than a human in their ranks.d Still wondering how he woulda gone mad and why he would've thrown his crew overboard. Connecting it to the tree fever scene imo doesn't work that well tho. Given the altar was already existing human sacrifices, or at least blood sacrifices in general seemed to be a common in the Shandorians culture. When you put yourself in the shoes of such a believe system, its honestly neither mad, nor outlandish to think a 'better' sacrifice would appease the gods more and there is no indication the priest had the tip for the sacrifice from any 'outside force'. Imo 'went mad and threw his crew overboard' sounds more like one of either a fit of rage, possibly explained by a 'nonhuman' race discovering what humans have done to them while sailing with humans, or like a scheme to not have to share the treasure, which kinda works with the song. Or... remember the treasure marker Luffy found amoung Namis treasure from Skypiea? He gave it to Buggy and from Buggy we know that Johns treasure is somewhere on the ocean floor. If Van der Decken was on Skypiea it might actually make sense that it belonged to him originally and he just lost in in Skypiea (because why else would it be there? Its not made out of gold, so its kind of an outlier in the treasures the Straw Hats brought with them. If Van der Decken lost the marker to the underwater treasure and only found out when he was close to the location he went mad and threw his crew overboard to go look for it. "Find it, Find it, the sunken treasure is mine for the taking, I'm the richest man on the world!" actually kinda works. "Dead mens fingers have no need for jewels...", "In this blackened nation where not even a crow flies..." is this maybe alluding to some sunken island? Maybe sunken by the WG in the void century?
I've seen a similar thing about the mushroom people on grandline review not your theory but that Vander is part mushroom man lol I love this one aswell!!!!
Not gonna lie bro, you had me the entire video up until the mushroom part lol. I love the way you formulate theories though, you are def a top tier one puce theorist
LOLOL ahahahah yeah its an option. until someone can explain to me the 4 legs cuz i looked nearly all the fishmen and no one was like this. Appreciate you bro
I'd say it's more likely that instead of having the voice of all things, he instead was a member of the third eye clan. There's a common belief that they'd have the ability to read poneglyphs with their third eye and that myth would've had to spawn from somewhere. So this route could not only explain how he'd potentially read of pluton + ties into big mom wanting a third eye child for this trait alone
Yo I got a crazy theory for the will of D, and honestly think I hit it on the nail but it will take too long to type. I’ll be happy to share it with you through discussion and do not need any credit for it. This theory is honestly wild and I wouldn’t have been able to come up with it if not for your vision on seeing things differently.
I could be missing something here but you say he could have originally been a mushroom man with four legs but in the art depiction of him throwing his crew off of his ship, he only has two legs?
Reaching harder than Luffy in Gear 5 waving a thunderbolt lmfao. I'm not too sure how well this will age. At the very least it's not mushrooms are plants theory lol
What if the reason people don't find laugh tale easily is because it's inside of a living thing moving around (whale). Maybe the only way to find it is to lure the creature.
It's all a bit of a mess, tales of the island say a huge treasure, the government said stay away, roger named it. It's also possible that someone made it there (that don't mean they made it back). Also the vanderddecken ghost ship could have actually been sunk by the government ( I was written while listening and you mentioned this )
it’s wild to think that Oda may have considered all of this and it could be 100% true and it may not ever be confirmed or be relevant to the story. It’s just his way of building the world
yeah 100% hahaha just like my otohime theory. sometimes those are the best ones. its things like Gaimon that remind me oda probably has like 60% of the story that will never be mentioned. Gaimon was like at the very beginning. and then in around chapter 600s. he puts gaimon and sarfunkel a rference to saimon and garfunkel in the cover story. and its crazy that he had something so minor in the grand scheme of things planned out like that.
@Parvision - Vander Decken could parallel Mont cricket? making the assumption that the city of gold sunk to fishman island rather than the knock up stream?
YO. I cant leak it, but you're going to LOVE that one piece talks theory video. I helped expand the thought, but they were the inspiration that made me suggest looking at vanderdecken. It was cuz mt conversation with them where I realized vanderdecken canonically had to have read that shandian poneglyph
Wait... How tf did the original Vanderdecken read the Poneglyphs and managed to stumble onto Laughtale? Is it possible that he wasn't mad? That people were much more brainwashed and blinded by the WG since a little after the WG takeover and the Void century, the OG Vanderdecken would have been born? What if because he was born in the time period between the void century and afterwards, he could do what the people from the Ancient Kingdom could do but was forced to give up those genes by method of breeding them out of multiple generations until the Vanderdecken family became the twisted, sick Fishmen we got during our timeline? What if the voice of all things cursed Vanderdecken for arriving on Laughtale without the complete set of Road Poneglyphs and his crew was the first to get the Devil Fruit curse to be unable to swim when he gave his crew Devil Fruits and then the Laughtale of that time moved somewhere that would've been able to drown all but Vanderdecken himself which is how we need to access Laughtale via Road Poneglyphs...
was rewatching One piece and with my dad for the first time, during Fishman island i made notes but now I dont know how these are exactly connected but i thought it was cool. To whomsoever this may help Noah ship vander decken 1st part of Joyboy's crew? has straw hat ish with blue ribbon tasked by joyboy to use his powers to send noah to someplace? vander decken's fruit passed through generations will play huge role in the final arc
I love your theories 🙌🏼 the detailed way you describe your thoughts is brilliant 😁 and I have a question for you. What do you think about that the Nika Nika no mi was hidden at laugh tale and Roger bring it back into the world? Because I think it's a little bit suspicious that this fruit, directly connected to joy boy, was hidden 800 years without someone else finding it 😅 also that's maybe the reason why the government had it after killing Roger.
Roger turned himself into the Marines, so he woulda literally had to hand it over. Also given that it had a fake name and whatnot it was likely found multiple times, just not awakened.
One thing that doesn't add up for me is the fact van der decken was a celestial dragon if he was a mushroom man. The celestial dragons are the symbol of discrimination in the One piece world, they wouldn't invite other races other than humans to reside in the grand line
so i made an update to this a little in my noland vid. 2 things noticed a few more details that make it so vanderdecken wudnt necessarily need to be a celestial dragon here.
Hey Parvision, what do you think of the idea that Enma (the sword) has a fruit in it in the same vein as Funkfreid, and has the Hito Hito no mi mythical model: Enma, God of Hell And the manifestation of the grim reaper we saw was actually Enma changing forms and shit talking Zoro
OP took a turn for the worse after sky island. I feel like it got away from the plot and decided to kill off ace but it’s finally going back to its original plot. It was so much history on sky island
Now that we know where pluton is, I wonder why imu had vivis photo like she doesn’t even know where pluton is but imu doesn’t have a photo of Robin so I wonder why vivi has a target on her head

The song directly states that the treasure isn't gold and jewels because dead men's fingers need no rings and he believes himself to already be the richest man in the world. that's the big reveal. One must already be the richest man in the world to claim the treasure. You must already posses all the riches of the world and more before you can claim the one piece. I assume there is an island full of abandoned treasures of those who sought the one piece including Rogers treasure. You have to give everything you have to proceed type thing but people keep leaving gold and jewels instead of what they actually need to.
Hmmm. So The current Vander Decken knows the truth and that’s why he’s always trying to get with the princess because the ponegliffs read that joy boy will return for the princess and he’s trying to force the prophecy for himself 🤔

Still wondering how he woulda gone mad and why he would've thrown his crew overboard.
Very interesting
A mushroom inspired a man to make a video about a mushroom becoming pirate king
L M A O
This is so grest, Par!
Can`t wait to watch Zoro is a plant theory)))
I've seen a similar thing about the mushroom people on grandline review not your theory but that Vander is part mushroom man lol I love this one aswell!!!!
very nice
I think Crocus is a plant person and perhaps Green Bull
Came from GLR
Not gonna lie bro, you had me the entire video up until the mushroom part lol. I love the way you formulate theories though, you are def a top tier one puce theorist
LOLOL ahahahah yeah its an option. until someone can explain to me the 4 legs cuz i looked nearly all the fishmen and no one was like this.
Appreciate you bro
but that was the best evidence👀
WOW
Laughtale is Davy Jones locker.
GEEZUS FUCKEN KRYST WHAT A BEAUTIFUL FIND!!!! :O
Just when i thought i ran out of content
Vanderdecken is ZUNESHA! PUNISHED TO ROAM FOREVER PROVE ME WRONG
Nah I dont need to cuz I can agree with you lol
kinokobito look like celestial dragons
Feel free to share it :)
I could be missing something here but you say he could have originally been a mushroom man with four legs but in the art depiction of him throwing his crew off of his ship, he only has two legs?
Sounds like a flying Dutchman just ate to many mushrooms
LMAOOO i didnt write the story! oda did! 4 legged fishmen gotta be mushroom man!
Reaching harder than Luffy in Gear 5 waving a thunderbolt lmfao. I'm not too sure how well this will age. At the very least it's not mushrooms are plants theory lol
XDD
Maybe Zunesha is the original Vander Dekken.
Gaimon was like at the very beginning.
and then in around chapter 600s. he puts gaimon and sarfunkel a rference to saimon and garfunkel in the cover story. and its crazy that he had something so minor in the grand scheme of things planned out like that.
og decken could also have a 3 eyes crew member or be one himself
If true about the kinokobito or whatever, then wouldn't Big Mom want to capture him to complete her race gathering?
BABE WAKE UP PAR POSTED
LOL
Kinoko=Mushroom
Kobito=Dwarf
Dwarf/Child/Small Person
NOO he was tontatta now too?! LMFAOO
Luffy x Nami at the end GGWP :)
i feel like i heard this mushroom theory first on glr channel idk i could be wrong
0:09 End of video. No elaboration.
That would be epic
LOL I am trying to start my videos in an exciting way like that hahha
sick
was rewatching One piece and with my dad for the first time, during Fishman island i made notes but now I dont know how these are exactly connected but i thought it was cool.
To whomsoever this may help
Noah ship
vander decken 1st part of Joyboy's crew? has straw hat ish with blue ribbon
tasked by joyboy to use his powers to send noah to someplace?
vander decken's fruit passed through generations will play huge role in the final arc
Oda just said the ponogliph might be Nira so can he be from there
I love your theories 🙌🏼 the detailed way you describe your thoughts is brilliant 😁 and I have a question for you.
@@Parvision- yeah I watched it earlier this morning, really solid theory!! Keep up the good work bro!
YOOOO NEW VID :D
Hey Parvision, what do you think of the idea that Enma (the sword) has a fruit in it in the same vein as Funkfreid, and has the Hito Hito no mi mythical model: Enma, God of Hell
And the manifestation of the grim reaper we saw was actually Enma changing forms and shit talking Zoro
Cuz vivi is uranus
Hey i saw your comment on GLR. Not sure why he didnt credit you but hey, it just means youre SAUCING. Love this
Edit; i dont wanna be toxic. Both theories are good. I dont wanna accuse people of taking again. So i am sorry for egging you on. But hey, this theory was better imo
Not that he bit your theory, but your theory.
Its almost word for word though. Very awkward for a glr video to have such a massive oversight
I was thinking that what if he drowned his crew and went “mad” was because like roger and oden he heard the sea kings speaking and he thought he was going crazy and no one in his crew believed him and he drowned them
oooooooooooo!!!!! OHHHH wait that makes so much sense. he was hearing the seakings probably!
@@Parvision- u got discord I want to share a theory I have
@@khalidmohamed9851 yup! Link is in the description of vid.
@@Parvision- I sent a friend request
@@khalidmohamed9851 message it in the server! Feel free to tag me there too. Theres a section for theories, or you could share it here I usually check comments fully
This not a reflection on Parvision but some of his fans need help, I think it's mental health
W
I think op was going some where and had a good plot but now it changed because these characters are forgotten.
It will all eventually lead to the One higher power called God huh?
If vanderdeck ship did fly, did him or ship are shikis fruit
Hello
