Super happy with this- it looked huge on the stream! Going to get 2 so I can open a set of figures, and then probably give my nieces the spare cantina playset for their sylvanian families to enjoy a drink in.

This is a much-needed good day for TVC. The Cantina looks outstanding and the pipelined figures were a wonderful bonus. Hasbro should be commended for the detail and modularity it has built into this. I will be backing it.

I got a couple Ubrikkian 9000's from Stan Solo earlier this year, so now I got a speeder to have parked at the front door! I would recommend grabbing one before he sells out. It will definately now be a hot item.
When my kids and I saw this on Hasbro Pulse livestream, we were excited. Finally getting the Cantina, that I watched as a toddler and my kids watched when they were small. I couldn't believe that they did the Tonnika sisters and I am glad they did. My daughter does not know about them, but now she is rewatching " A New Hope" to spot those sisters, because she believes they look incredible. Hasbro Star Wars team, Jing, Chris, Emily and the rest have outdone themselves. I am happy they did. We are getting all new Luke, Obi Wan, Han and a partial Chewbacca makes me happy that TVC will continue to World Build. The 3.75 inch is for Life as my kids love that scale and I know they will impart that to their kids, so we will be going on 4 generations as my Father enjoyed collecting that scale for me. It’s nice to know there are still kids out there who love Star Wars, especially SW 3.75 action figures. I find that rare nowadays. I hope I can pass on my love of Star Wars and my love of collecting unto my future children. I would be thrilled if at least one catches the Star Wars collecting bug.
@@Camtono_Collectibles Is not rare in The Bronx, as all the kids I know, maybe 800 kids, still play with 3.75 inch action figures. My kids friends and my family, buy and play with 3.75 inch figures. Is sad to hear in other places is rare.

I’m primarily a Black Series collector, but the Cantina is one of my favorite scenes in all of Star Wars so this one will be a pickup for me I think.

@@lamarravery4094fully agreed- this reminds me I’m still hoping we end up getting the Jedi Spirits in 3.75” scale too, I wish it won’t be just the Black Series that have them- it’s the only single BS item I own in my coll. as it looks so good. It complements my 1996 3.75” Jedi Spirits set, but still keep my hopes of TVC releasing them eventually, on cards and maybe in a set too.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!! This was a long time coming!!!! To bring some new figures and some main heros!!!! About time Hasbro !!!
For me this may have been my happiest day as a lifelong Star Wars 3.75” collector. As a classic monster fan, that cantina scene really captured by imagination the first time I saw it on the big screen when I was ten years old. That was the moment I understood what world building was even though I didn’t know there was a word for it. World building is my favorite part of my job as a professional comic book writer and it all goes back to this. I even spent a lot of time watching my “Danger at the Cantina” film cartridge on my Kenner Star Wars Movie Viewer in order to relive the experience since there was so little released images of the cantina scene, or anything for the first few years Star Wars existed.
The Cantina playset looks perfect, right down to the heads on the wall that I didn’t expect to see incorporated. All the figures look great, and my number 1 spot has finally opened up on my March Madness bracket now that the figures I’ve wanted most for almost 30 years are finally getting made. With the Tonnika sisters coming, I almost feel like if Hasbro killed the line I’d be satisfied with what I have.
I do think more cantina patrons will be coming. I suspect that as we move forward with the campaign, Hasbro will reveal more of what’s to come in order to drive up interest in the HasLsb by showing how it will be supported. I’m sure we’ll see some single carded figures like Momaw Nadon, but I also hope we see a couple of four packs of characters that aren’t cut out for wide release. I’d love to see a Hare Mouse, Garouf Lafoe, Yerka Mig, Tycar Ryjerd, Danz Borin, the other spacemen, and the second Duros. I know this won’t happen, but I’d also love to get a Jerba to stand outside by the dewback.
Given that it's such a high-end item, the modular parts/Alcove walls should be weathered/textured on both sides, (ie including the curved archway entrances on both sides of the bar). Front and Back, so outside/extended dioramas can be set-up and displayed.

Look at all those IG heads! Finally Hasbro has listened to the fans. I wish a floor and bar lights were added, but I'll take it. I know there was some legality with the sisters, but its about time!

Just a few thoughts I’ve put together below. Most likely there’s nothing very original here, but if there is perhaps they could be brought up in tonight’s livestream. I can’t make it I’m afraid, we’ve got friends round, but will catch up tomorrow.
Detailing - the detailing looks good, walls, steps etc, but could do with an ink wash to create some weathering and bring out those details. Is this the kind of thing the community should be making known to Hasbro?
Floor - I know there’s lots of talk about the floor or rather lack of. I’m interested in what people think about the lack of floor, but also in what people will display this on? I’m not exactly sure what the Cantina floor should look like, but am thinking wood laminate, like my sideboard in the study/collection room is not going to look great. I’m thinking of trying a craft cutting mat, they’re tough, rubbery and can hopefully get them fairly plain. Might work a treat and prevent the set slipping on a polished surface.
Deluxe v Basic - this is huge so I’ve backed a basic as just don’t have a single space or surface in the house the deluxe can sit on. I think I could be convinced to change my mind… modularity is a brilliant feature meaning it can be displayed in sections on shelves etc.
Figures - love them all, and can understand they need to pull people in to buy this with the temptation of popular demand figures like the Tonnikas or Greedo. I really hope the #ReturnToTatooine campaign will provide some more background patrons. I’m surprised they didn’t go for Hem Dazon in particular as his head popping up is so iconic and synonymous with the Cantina.
Accuracy - Ive seen some plans on social media that suggest the deluxe side is less accurate than the original design… any thoughts? Do the band have a bandstand?
Cups - Do we need so many cups.. I noticed some of the carded figures also have cups 😂
Lighting - How well do people think it will light for photography/display? The photos Has to took looked great so hoping it will be good, but the alcoves may be a bit dark. Does anyone think lighting could/should have been included or sets sold separately maybe on completion of the Haslab?
Value for money - a lot of chatter in the community about it being overpriced, what do you think? Are some people priced out of these offerings? Could there be a payment plan?
Outside - live that they have in true outside entrance. Really hope we might get to build this out with figures ( Garindan maybe? 😁), Dewback, spherical vehicle, re-release of Luke’s speeder, sand troopers.
I've backed one of the Deluxe Edition for $499.99, which should come to $605, I live Canada, so that's our exchange rates from USD to Canadian dallors!! This is my first HasLab backing, so that why I picked the Deluxe Edition!!
Only complaint; They should have LED lights in the booths, Droid Detector, etc. I bought that Robbie The Robot 12" toy a few years back for $20.. It literally walked, talked, & lit up. For this asking price I hope Hasbro is listening.
The lack of electronics might be something to do with international markets, I remember there being some hurdles toy companies need to jump through to be able to ship electronics to some countries.

I plan on backing this. I wish I would have had on the Ghost but maybe I'll get one someday, same with Jabbas Sail Barge. Hope to get all of the new characters in my collection. I've always been a huge fan of Tatooine and all the Smugglers and and criminals and villains that visit and reside there. I am really excited for the new upcoming Star Wars Outlaws video game that will allow us to explore Tatooine and even meet Jabba!

I backed it. It looks incredible and the figures are spectacular. I didn't see the Pipeline but that's really exciting too. My only issue is going to be opening the figures. I have a loose collection but I'm going to have a really hard time opening these. The cards are beautiful too.

Lost my entire collection in the 2018 paradise fire so to get a chance to get this! I feel like I a, 8 years old again in 1977! Prices are ridiculous but this therapy for me baby!

Deluxe backed even though I’m a Mando only collector as it did appear in The Mandalorian episode called The Gunslinger. Just hope we get some figures from that.

Time for OT-crowd to pony up. The time to cry and complain is over. This is a dream item. The ANH mains are all getting redone and there will be much more to support the Cantina. If you want more OT and don’t back this then you got zero grounds to ever complain again. Let’s smash this to unlock all tiers ASAP and if we get it done quick enough maybe they could be convinced to add a 4th unlock.
It makes zero sense to wait. Back it today, it doesn’t charge until the end of the campaign.
If you ever want a new Sandcrawler, Shuttle Tyderium, Death Star or any other OT Haslabs, this one needs to succeed and succeed well. Let’s get it to 25-30k and show Hasbro that they need to expand the TVC budget and if anything relocate resources away from the TBS clearance scale. #backthebar

I would prefer I way for hasbro to fund these but pay in instalments I know you can though PayPal but I mean hasbro should think of these things. But I’m sure many will back 2 to have carded figs to.
I’m very excited about this! It will be my first time backing a Haslab. I hope the Return to Tatooine theme includes Sandtroopers and Biggs on the Pilot Luke Sculpt. (I think Biggs being from Tatooine should count.)

An overpriced Playset that holds no interest for me. Those who love it, enjoy the purchase.
I may actually buy this one...some great figures but how can I take them off the cards???!!! They are all awesome cardbacks!!!
That’s a massive price point for something that i don’t personally think is worth it. Most will buy and double dip fit the sisters. I’ll wait for them to get released on their own. And they will has to won’t sit on an opportunity to get more sales on these figures. Happy for everyone who wants this and gets it, in the end it’s all about what your personal experience.
I truly believe figures should not be behind haslab paywalls. The bartender and tonnika sisters should have had coins with them or something, so other folk, such as myself that doesnt collect sets, can still buy a retail release on regular cards, such as Yak Face and the barge.
Will have to 3D print a roof and floor for this.

I think i only have room for the standard version, but i might go for the full one, because i will never be able to make the full cantina if i want to set it up for pictures. The figures annoy me it is a great selection, but i think they should either have them loose and release them carded later or Hasbro should give us an option to get a set carded and loose with the cantina. right now,.

This trully is a dream come true for so many of us. I have already backed 2 deluxe. I love everything they announced today with the exception that they specifically said Wuher and Tonnika figures will not be made available outside the Haslab. That is extremely foolosh as many carded collectors like me would buy two extra sets outside the Haslab. Really hope they backtrack on that as that is the only dark cloud hanging over this incredible awesome announcement. We're making the wolf man too, don't you worry.
Maybe a three pack in the window box of a few years ago variety so you don’t get the cards but you get the figures!
Yeah, but outside of hardcore completionists nobody is going to be buying Tonnika sisters or Wuher. Those kinds of super niche characters really don't belong in a mass produced mainline anymore; they'd pegwarm forever.
@@enrique6335 I think you underestimate just how many hardcore completists there are. They could have even done an additional tier like Sabine and Chopper, if you back another 3000 units, we'll make these available for sale on POTF cards or something along those lines. Carded completionists are now buying two sets of those instead of just one as an opener. So now instead of just 1 deluxe Haslab at $500, they've sold 3000 more units plus $120 more worth of the same figure on a different cardback.
@@MitchellGumm I think that's the point to get you to buy 2 or more sets. These are exclusive to this set so if you want doubles or triples you are going to have to buy the whole shabang multiple times. Sorry but we will never see the Tonnika sisters again- this is your one and only chance to get them

As a non TVC collector I'm thrilled for all of you! THIS is what a Haslab should be! Its pretty much perfect and even if you dont get all the tiers you're still getting 3 incredible figures.
I'll be backing 2 of these at least! I have to have a deluxe might as well get the full cantina though not sure where I'll display it yet. Really would have loved a better job on the outside & more weathering ofcourse. Love the Lego version they made with the duback which looks awesome & all the extra pieces outside cantina. Would be cool to have that. I could park the landspeeder out the front! Looks great can't wait to have Greedo & Han set up in the booth & fill up cantina with aliens!

It's a Great Item. But too pricey for me.
Would have been better as a Pulse Exclusive and they sold the modular sections separately, like the Bar, the Front Entrance, or a Booth. I'd buy each separately over time.
The Ghost started backing on July 21 2023 and past the 8000 mark at 17.24 BST on the 25th. It'll be interesting to see how Cantina funding compares to that

I have got to be honest with you it does look really good and hasbro has done a very good job and has put a lot of work into this project and this definitely going to be one of the best playset that has ever made from the vintage collection and again they have done a really great job as always so thanks hasbro well done 👏

So weird they have not done that yet specially because they have two Empire Strikes Back versions.
I backed it without my wife’s permission though my only gripe is the Greedo. Now he is amazing but if we most likely will be getting one in the mainline. Then make the Haslab version be the blaster burned version since he originally couldn’t react to Han’s surprise first shot. With that said, all in all I love the set. Now just need to get the kids out of the house start displaying all of this awesome stuff. 😂😂

I just ordered two deluxe versions!!! In it for the figures. I've got no room to display this monster. Greeedo.... looks wicked! Can't wait for the "main" pipelines! Finally!!! Gonna have to definitely update the #makethe96 video" soon :P

this is a long time desired set, I'm in at 1000% despite some little letdowns. The floor it's not essential but it would have been nice (with pegs!) and I dreamed a lighting LED system, at least for the bar. Maybe the most critic is that I don't see a regular space for the Modal Nodes!
On the good side, overall looks terrific and the façade for the entrance is chef kiss. Some people criticizes that accurate movie sets are not cooler as the playsets that adapts the set for kid playing (like the original Kenner sets). Not agree, as an adult collector and SW toy worldbuilder I want exactly this (like the Carbon Freezing Chamber or Jabba's Palace).
Very glad with the selection of figures included and tiers, hope that we will get all 🙏🏼

Nabrun Leids was originally released in 1999, as part of the POTF2 "Cinema Scene" collection. He was then repainted and released in 2006's Saga Collection as a two-pack with Kabe.
This is my first HasLab and I am *excited*! (I wasn’t collecting when the barge was offered, and everything since hasn’t motivated me enough).
I’m pretty much strictly an OT collector, so you can keep all your clones, Bad Batch, Clone Wars, etc - this is right up my alley. 😁
My only wish beyond what we’re getting is that they would offer the option to include an additional loose, bagged figure of the carded ones for an additional charge. I think so many of us want the carded figure as well as a loose one to display…
Of course I realize this may reduce sales for those who could afford to purchase two, but realistically (cost and display space-wise) I think it would benefit both Hasbro and the collectors.

I wish I could say I could back the basic version, but it's looking less and less likely! It would cost me $399.99 in U.S. dollars! What irks me is they're not releasing it until Fall 2025 if it gets backed! The basic version will probably get backed, but I'm already a bit agitated they made fans wait so long to get TVC Jabba, but yet made the Boba Fett/Jabba Throne Room available a year in advance! I'd still like to at least buy a TVC Jabba with his throne, but that keeps selling out! So if they put in anymore preorders for Jabba I might do that instead. I'm limited on space as well as money. I would only have until July 8th, I think to back a basic version of the Cantina and I'd have to pay the full amount if it's backed. The Cantina is a cool diorama playset, but I don't see how I can back it. :(

The final stretch goal could have been all the figures loose inside a Box with with detailed Black/White art like the recent troop builder boxes.
I would like to see a TVC George Lucas (1976 Director's outfit, Tunisia Desert) figure so he could relax in the cantina as well with the patrons.
I've backed the base version, not got the space for deluxe offering unfortunately. Great figures! Let's hope we get the 17k
I think a deal could be done exclusively for this set to release the Tonnika Sisters. I wrote a comment about the likeness issue of the actresses being solved but it was made invisible on Pulse site, suggesting this might still be a sensitive issue. Don't expect the Tonnika Sisters to be made available elsewhere. Now about the price, this is deep, but when you think about it, $250 for a base offering and $25 for 6 figures each equals $400 (I presume Hasbro priced the set knowing it would reach 17000 backers). Of course cheaper would be better, but again, the Tonnika Sisters were really the last never made figures from the original movie so I am quite happy with this offering. The sisters make the Haslab successful to me, otherwise I would have preferred a vehicle, such as a Marauder with Bad Batch crew or a Dooku's Solar Sailor from the prequels. Another time perhaps. Having said that, it's absolutely NECESSARY that Hasbro proposes in 2 years from now (2026 for 2027) a gigantic Haslab DEATH STAR to celebrate A New Hope's 50th anniversary. There might never be another opportunity for this.
Hasbro NEEDS to release ALLL of these characters outside of the HasLab. Why would we (speaking for all the carded and open collectors) tear these from their EXCLUSIVE card? I certainly won’t Hasbro wants me to buy this and not have THE BARTENDER and THE TONNIKA SISTERS to populate it? Make it make sense. We literally don’t have modern figures to go inside of it as it is. Why would I want this if I can’t open ALL of my figures?
It’s very nice , I wish I had the perfect setup and space. Center of the room , a proper custom painted dio floor, definitely a dewback on the outside. Also a custom removable roof with custom dry brush. It’ll definitely hit 17,000+!!!!! It’s not for me , too many cups I wouldn’t use .
The sisters, especially with all their history, are definitely a draw.
It's an expensive set, like all HasLabs, but it does look like they've put the work in, and well thought out on the modularity.
Personally, I'd appreciate a vaporator and a 9000 Z001 landspeeder included for the price (lights would've been cool, too), but we can't have everything.
On the other hand, I have no room for this atm.
That said, I am still considering it. It is a great diorama with great figures if eventually displayed, and a great investment regardless if not.
Only thing I’m disappointed with is Greedo…we have so many of him already, I’d prefer an alien we’ve never had. It’ll be interesting to see exactly how modular it is…I know it says it is but…if it’s like past “modular” things, it really doesn’t change too much.

The Haslab does look great. Sadly I don't think I'll be able to back this one either due to money issues. I sincerely hope that most of the figures (Particularly Greedo and the Tonnika Sisters as people have been asking for them for ages) are made available on alternate cardbacks for all of us poor broke collectors, and for everyone who backs this but wants to keep the exclusive figures carded. Well Tim, I haven't been collecting modern or TVC really in quite some time, but the more I see about this Cantina Haslab & and the return to Tatooine stuff, the more they are reeling me back in.
In all honesty due to space constraints, I wasn't even considering backing this project. But I'm actually getting a little bit hyped about it. I probably will revisit the idea of backing it closer to the wrap-up of the allotted time frame that we have.
And if I do back it, I would definitely back the deluxe version, because why not. I certainly think this one will back, and would like to think that it would hit the 17K needed for all of the tiers.

I think I'm going to back this, I've been waiting for the Tonnika sisters, that alone is reason enough for me.
The one huge problems I have with hasbro that is finally Affected. How I buy and now it went from having to buy everything to now I pick and choose figures and the fact that they want us to put a other 500 of my money along with the 600 for the ghost which hasn't come yet so that is 1,100 dollars with nothing to show for it yet! GREED is something that is obvious and leaves me feeling taken advantage of?? 1 at a time!
Seeing how modular this is, I'm wondering how it would have done if Hasbro had broken it up into pieces and sold it in $50-$100 segments? All of those figures would sell if released individually, there's no doubt about that.
However, the nice part about the modular nature is that you don't necessarily need to display this all in one piece. You can break it up and have little Cantina displays spread out wherever you have room for them.
Happy for the people that have wanted this for so long, but holy hell, the price tag is absolutely obscene to the point of being criminal. A bland, uninspiring collection of modular plastic. I mean, it is what it is, but for half a grand I'll take my chances on the figures getting a main line release. I think this'll be lucky to even hit funding, the chances of getting those stretch goals feels very slim. However that said, kudos to Hasbro for delivering something that the vocal community have been asking for. Just wish the community would champion a blockade runner, or star destroyer..😢
