Love this!! The rubber band trick is great. My machine has an adjustable metal guide but only directly beside the needle head. I'm 100% using an elastic with it for lining the fabric up with ease :)

I would say use a disappearing maker and mark out the seam line you’ll sew on! Lot more work but

I need help to sew straight on a a very short seam allowance. It’s so short that it’s thinner than the foot. I cannot use the measurement plate.
