Why are Belkin product so expensive
I’ve been asking that for years lol
Because it has Apples stamp on it. I hate the cost but the quality is good.
Because they are designed to standards much higher than many other brands. I have seen this first hand and was quite impressed. Also certifying things through Apple can be expensive as well.
All I buy is Belkin! Charging bricks, cables, everything! They put most all of the Apple accessories to shame!

QUESTION: If you are using your iPhone with Apple TV to make calls on your Apple TV via continuity camera, will the tracking still work?
IF SO, that means you can repurpose an older (or last year's phone) as a dedicated phone for your Apple TV, making a next-level Facetime experience... No?
thats stupid since you can always just put your phone on the magsafe and have it track you instead of having a dedicated phone
I'm guessing you have reasons to dedicate one phone to the Apple TV. A personal preference for putting an older phone to use? Why not😅? Or maybe for others to use while you keep your phone with you?

-- Does the Apple TV use NFC or Bluetooth or Wifi?
-- An older, unlocked phone used via home wifi can be used for FaceTime calls if the WiFi provider allows it. Otherwise your phone might need cellular?
-- For your purpose, I would ask Belkin or its customers.
-- Maybe search YT or discord or other media for people who actually tried this.

If you put a MagSafe case on a non MagSafe phone it seems to work just fine. I did it with my iPone 11 Pro.

Hey Aaron! I have had a DJI OSMO Mobile 3 gimbal and it does the same tracking. It’s great to have that tech.
I may could be wrong, but it does't track system wise. So you could only tracking within DJI App.
I was hopping someone make an App that uses Apple's tracking API to use it with DJI gimbals

This is the coolest thing ever.
iPhones were not working yesterday due to cell outage. I’ve heard it on the radio and it was also reported on the news yesterday however if you were trying to upload videos that was not possible because you could not have any cell service to do so however it came back on at, I don’t know what time, but it came back on for all users
That was an AT&T outage affecting every phone on that carrier. It wasn’t just iPhones.

No. They would have to certify it through Apple.

I've been using a DJI Osmo Mobile for this and it's much more expensive.

I think it’s neat that it can do that but I myself don’t really have a use for it. I could see where it would be good though if you have this on your phone and you are using FaceTime with the Apple TV, you could walk around the room and it would track you.

No, I haven’t but I prefer the error as the screen is much nicer. However, Apple is expected to update it in March so you may wanna wait.

They need to bring this support to Continuity Camera for Apple TV and macOS. So we can use auto-tracking accessory devices for iPhones for those devices as well.

i have a £15.99 bat signal phone stand and it works fine as a phone holder
apple watch's camera app is really buggy and glitchy. it take multiple restart to get it work
I've had that issue with the Apple Watch not showing me any feedback for a while now. I wish they'd fix it.
My Apple Watch worked fine with it!
