You forgot the WW2 German BMW R12. Of these, around 36,000 were built. It had a side-valve 750cc boxer engine with 18 hp - a shame that you did not mention it but you present such things like the Vespa Tank killer lol - this BMW icon should definitely have a spot in the top 10!
My step Grandad was a dispatch rider in the second world war, he wrote everything down he did and I've his notes and trying to see if could be put into a book.
Befor the war Indian was the top bike in America but During ww2,Indian went all in for military production unlike Harley which only went halfway to military. Whichre sulted in the rise of Harley Davidson although Harley's are still unreliable.spending more time with mechanics than on the road. My opinion is Indian of www and befor the war are the icons of American motorcycles
@@bobsfreeworld6620 You're doing great! Keep up the good work :-) You may like to go look at The Museum of RetroTechnology (curated by Douglas Self). This is a fascinating web-based museum and I have spent many happy hours perusing the exhibits.
I got to ride a Diesel klr for a year and it was Diesel, I was able to ride 480 miles to the tank before I had to switch to reserve, I miss riding that bike,

It is great to see the wartime Harley’s and the other bikes. They would make a great addition to one’s rides
The army also used the klr 250s for over 10 years, I used to use them for scouting missions

The Royal Enfield at 8:26 if you see it is 90% the same currently being produced in India. The exhaust is 100% the same though.
By far the most produced WW2 bike was the BSA M20 which was a 500cc sidevalve single
thanks for the comment , hope to make more videos soon
I used a Honda 72cc to recon for polar bears on the rolling tundra. I remember only too well outrunning one bear that chose me for lunch.

Im an Indian owner so was hoping to see a 741, 841 or even the rare papoose. The papoose was a small bike that could be air dropped.

Royal Enfield specs were a bit wide of the mark or maybe the photos were out of sinc? Lot's of American references in there as usual?
DR Suzuki were used in Australian Army

No it wasn't, that was a modified OHV 500 Triumph...
