It’s just bad for people starting their Canadian journey now. Unfortunately I started my PR process just a few weeks ago and started my journey paid my WES and booked an IELTS slot. Sitting in India and dreaming about moving to Canada via PR is now going to be just a dream.

For the General Draws as well? I know it's near impossible to predict but (since you speculated about it going down, I'd appreciate some reissuance by going a step further:D ) but do you think it can go as down as 481?
Positive impacts: 1. Less population > less housing demand > stability in housing and rental market. 2. Less immigration > less labour > unemployment goes down > Wage increases. So wage will increase and housing will come down or at least be stabl, resulting in increase in affordability..
149$ is cheap as hell, I wish i got this offer 2 years ago when i created mine. Still thank you kubeir because its tuff out there and people have difficulty affording immigration consultants.
I think you might be overplaying it a little bit. Yeah the in-canada + priority occupations numbers are slightly higher than FHS targets last yeear. Yes the in-canada focus helps people in CEC, but that's only if you look at it in a vaccum. Now that PNPs have been cut down in half all of those 50k+ people who could have gone to PNPs (which are mostly for in-canada applications) will also rely on CEC. That doesn't even include the fact that STEM category is most likely gone for next year which puts them also in the in-canada focus and not in the priority occupation category. Would be interesting if Ontario also drops it from it's HCP draws or reduces them to some extent. It's gonna be a blood bath for all the tech bros lol. Interesting days ahead ngl 😅
@AskKubeir I wouldn't be so sure about that. I myself took the Ontario master's program because I didn't want to deal with the unpredictable CEC draws. If I had gone through CEC I would have over 500+ CRS (not sure exactly how much at this point). A lot of people in the 480s, 490s and even low 500s also go through PNP because (as you said) they see no chance in CEC when scores are above 510, 520 or whatever. But if even those (especially the 490+) don't get PNP then they have to wait for CEC. My point is that the floor at which the score will come to equilibrium might not be as low as people anticipate. For example instead of going to say 470 it might just get stuck at 480 or 490.
@@AskKubeir That's not entirely accurate. Many recent graduates with scores between 450-490, who currently lack a strong chance in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), opted for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) as a faster route, believing that securing something now is better than waiting for a higher score in the future. However, by taking the PNP route, they would no longer compete in the CEC pool, potentially keeping CEC scores relatively low. Now, with PNP quotas reduced by 50%, more candidates will likely enter the Express Entry (EE) pool, potentially driving up the scores. How much higher is uncertain. Additionally, as you've mentioned, around 3,000 profiles enter the 500+ score range in the EE pool every two weeks. Even if IRCC holds a draw for 3,000 profiles, scores would likely remain stable. With reduced PNP quotas, this influx of 3,000 profiles in the 500+ range biweekly could continue to grow, and if IRCC misses a draw or issues only 500 ITAs, the situation could worsen further.
@@AskKubeir I also forgot to add the 6 month hiatus that Québec is going to go into. That will have at least a small temporary impact as well, even though it doesn't matter in the big picture.

Its their discretion. Unfortunately you can not do anything from your end for this, though you may write to them as a request
Because PTE is easy/not rigorous enough compared to IELTS and not a good bench mark test.

PR enjoy free provincial health care, play local resident tuition rate, an increase employment opportunities.
@ I am a PR.. I don’t see any opportunities here to be honest.. what is the point of getting an education at a local rate here if you can’t find any employment in your field .. ? About the health care system, although it is free, you will have to wait several months or even years for a surgery.. There are high chances that you will die before the operation…
