Awesome, so cool you are trying this. I love the way Fiona's turn out. Was watching her the other day and she mentioned you. Too cute, something about how Julie says this is the way to do it. Love the way you artists appreciate and inspire each other.
“Harder than it looks!” My absolute Mantra! Resin and acrylic pouring for sure. I’ve watched your Phoenix pour so many times, start rewind start again rewind and thanks for the video:) Love Phoenix colors 🤓
I love this! Are usually am not a fan the primary colours together, but with turquoise it just sets it off even though it’s not a predominant color. If you look for it you can find it but the eye doesn’t see it until you truly search for it. Instead, it just sets off the blue and the fiery oranges that I made from the red and yellow. This is stunning, striking.
You did a great job with this especially with it being your first time. I loved it before you tiled that last bit off but it still turned out nice. Yes, this looks like a Fiona piece!
Love this one! The colors are amazing and I loved the ammonite design. You didn't hear me say, don't do it, it's perfect! LOL Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It's great that you can please so many people. The final version looked very 3-D.:)
I am SO glad you did this!! Love it!! I kept telling the screen, though! Julie: I don't know if it will work ... me: Trust yourself. You have such talent and such a great eye! J: I don't know if you're supposed to ... me: You be you! J: Should I tip it? me: 70 - 30 rule! Now the series: beach colors, greens - with gold, of course!, purple and blues, red and black and gold.... Thanks, Julie! You made my day! This is so gorgeous! Stay safe!
Spiral out! Love it. In going to do this tonight and try to make spiral on purpose. If I can't do a good one, I want yours! Don't tip it!!!! I posted comment at 14 mins
I love it! If you look at it from the camera perspective with the corner that you tilt It Off to the left to me it looks like a silhouette of a head with a big bright mohawk sticking up but I think it's amazing good job you're so brave.
I liked it before you tilted and also after. Either way worked for me. I do love this. I would love to see it done without as much paint and maybe a bit of negative space left around it. I’m guessing for this size canvas that wouldn’t take a lot of paint. I do really like it. Can just imagine what you will come up with this being your first attempt
LOVE IT!!! I'm going to make me one. Now where can I find that 4 section cup??!! Wasn't sure you should tip it, but once again, you're right! Gotta try it and go for it! I hope when I come to crossroads like that, that I go for it! The color combination, FANTASTIC!!! Great for first attempt! Can't wait for others!
Hi Julie!! 👋👩🦳️👋 This is soooo beautiful!!! 😍💛💜❤️️💙🧡😍 I have some observations and comments: I would not go thinner, if anything I would stay the same or go even slightly thicker. It seems when Fiona does her pours, thicker paints keep more definition between the colored edges. If you have just a corner that you want the paint to go over on, try to move that corner away from the center off your spinner, which will increase the centrifugal strength to spin that corner off. I think you would get a more natural look than tipping will give you. This one turned out looking great, but it might make a difference on a future spin. To me, these types of spins emphasize the flame looking fingers that you get when you pour the paint out and rotate the canvas at the same time. Anything that you can do to maximize those fingers......well, that's what you might want to keep in mind. I don't know if you appreciate me sharing these kind of thoughts or not, but I wanted to give them to you in case you like them. Lots of love, Julie, for both you and your art!! 🥰️😍💕😍🥰️ God bless and have a great rest of your week!! 👍💞👍
It reminded me of Dr. Seuss’s Cat in the Hats’ tail....for awhile. 😂 Just love how you combined the colors with the cup. Can you use the wide side of the cup for pouring too? Thanks for sharing your initial jump into this technique. ♥️♥️
