Addictions invariably ruin lives. When people crave for something, lose control of how much they consume it, have a constant compulsion to indulge in it and continue to use it despite the adverse consequences, they endanger not only themselves but the livelihood of their family, friends and society. This specially scripted film, 'Let's Break This Bondage', screened during the month-long Pramukh Swami Maharaj Centenary Celebrations, accurately depicts the perils of addictions and how they plague not just the addicted individual but also everyone connected to them. This was a message relentlessly advocated by Pramukh Swami Maharaj and he tirelessly endeavoured to free people from the shackles of addictions in all forms. This short film effectively drives home this important message to encourage people to shun addictions for a happy and harmonious personal and family life.
